This update includes the approval of several policy changes, some of which pertain to the unit's structure and, more specifically, the qualifications of in-game Leaders. These changes are significant and may take some time to fully integrate into the unit's policies.

Policy: P15-127 Policy: Chain of Command

Scope of change: 

Removes Troop related Structures and formalises the new Chain of Command.

 

Purpose of change:

Changes to unit structure.

Unit Policy Update Notification

Policy: P1-82 Leadership in UNITAF
Version: 2

 

Scope of change: 

A new section has been added to outline how in-game Leaders will be qualified moving forward. This policy introduces a temporary requirement that replaces the ORGCOC requirement and precedes changes to the Field Leadership tier system. Due to the significant nature of these changes, we encourage you to read the full policy section.

 

Purpose of change:

Replacement to ORGCOC requirements for Field Leadership
To allow for upcoming system changes to support changes in unit policy around slotting in Leadership positions.

Unit Policy Update Notification

Policy: P15-154 Policy: Ranks and Promotions
Version: 6

 

Scope of change: 

  • Increased ATIG requirements for most enlisted ranks by 20%
  • Increased overall requirements for Master Specialist
  • Changed requirement for Chief Master Specialist
  • Changed definition of good conduct (GC) to good conduct in grade (GCIG)
  • Completely new requirements for NCO and Officer ranks
  • Introduced rank suffix policy
  • Please note that, at my discretion, no demotions will be made due to the new increased requirements introduced in this policy. However, I reserve the right to make demotions if it's in the best interests of the unit and aligned with the broader structural changes.
  • Rank re-assignments will be carried out in the ORGCOC due to the changes in requirements for some roles.

 

Purpose of change:

  • Removal of the Troop System introduces new requirements for NCO and Officer ranks
  • To allow for completion of structural changes
  • To widen the experience gap between Specialist ranks and provide a mild increase in rank longevity.

Policy: P1-89 Fireteam leading / Version: 3
Policy: P1-90 Squad leading teams / Version: 2

 

Scope of change: 

Please note that buddy teams must not be changed during operations for their duration in contradiction to the ORBAT without the approval of the Field Leader and correction of the ORBAT, except temporarily in line with the guidance provided.

Further changes to loadout standards for Marksmanship roles, introduces guidance on focal plane mil dot optics.

Policy: P3-210 Signals: Smoke Colors

Scope of change: 

Introduces, extentally of OPORDs a standard policy for the use of smoke signals.
