Due to a number of independent factors, 1Lt Ben, SFC Luke and Sgt Reefa have already or are about to enter Extended Leave of Absence (ELOA) statuses.
We are massively appreciative of the huge contributions made to UNITAF by them; obviously as and should they have time to return to UNITAF - look forward to having them back in the ORGCOC.
Please join us in thanking them.
This of course requires some updates to the COC and especially for 3 Troop, which is why I wanted to let you know our plans on this front. For ease we will break these changes into two phases, this also factors the intake of 12 candidates on May 1.
Phase 1: In the Officer Staff meeting yesterday we discussed the best way forward and are really pleased to announce the following promotions following a selection process, effective today.
Congratulations all.
Phase 2: Over the next 1-2 weeks, we expect to fill a number of spaces on the ORGCOC, most of which are or will become vacant due to the cascade of promotions required to fill all positions. Those positions are;
How to register interest
The requirements for each position differ slightly, but as a guide;
To apply/register interest for positions contact your COC before May 3rd at Midday UTC. This is a great opportunity for new members of the COC to join us too, so if this is something you are interested in please ensure you let your COC know. Even if you have already done so, I advise re-registering your interest with your COC.
More information about the ORGCOC can be found here: https://unitedtaskforce.net/training/sop/administration/chain-of-command and in the rest of the Administration section of SOP. But as always, best to speak to current NCOs if you have questions, I'm sure they will be more than happy to help.
Selection
Selection will take place on May 5th and most movements will be made on or before May 9th. This will be in line with a new selection and promotion policy which we hope to have published in some form, before May 9th.
