Skill

Passes behind or around friendly elements that are directed towards the enemy to prevent crossing their line of fire and causing a friendly fire incident. This includes moving through elements that are providing a base of fire even if they are not actively engaging at the time.

Common sense indicates that sometimes this is not possible, but this should not be done where avoidable.

FM/BS-343.V1.00 - Avoid Crossing Lines of Fire
Skill

If you need to move past a person in a firefight, always try to pass behind them. If you ever do need to move in front of someone in a combat situation, ensure that you call them by name and tell them that you're about to cross their line of fire.
