Situation
Background InformationContinuation of part 1 After last months capture of Malden and its formidable Airbase, NATO now have a base of operation in which to launch a campaign on the more centralized islands. To this end a rapid strike on Stratis has been devised to secure the militarized island. Stratis is a key military stronghold in the region making it strategically essential to take and hold the island before NATO may begin planning its attack on Altis. Following dereliction and abandonment in the civil war of 2030 the island has been entirely militarised without a civilian presence. NATO forces should therefore be able to hit hard and fast, aiming to take the island within the day.

Enemy Forces
CSAT militarised island with airbase, we expect heavy resistance, particularly as we advance north towards the more heavily fortified regions of the island. The enemy are a conventional force and are likely to make use of a wide range of ground and air assets. Objectives Romeo, X-ray and Zulu are expected to be particularly heavily defended. After the attack to the south side of the island CSAT is likely to have mustered its forces near the airbase and may send counterattacks towards us from the west.

Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of the mission is to secure the island of Stratis to use as a staging point to attack Altis.
Tasks and Sequencing
Overview: Sector 1: Knight will transport Rook 1 and Checkmate will transport Rook 2 and Castle to the disembark marker in grid 0547 - 0557. after which Knight will move to Knight BOF-1. Rook 1 will secure objective R and wait for pick-up from Knight for transport to Knight WP 1 in sector 2. Rook 2 will secure objective S and T after which they will move to objective W in sector 2. Castle Will cover Rook 1 & 2 from Castle BOF-1, after Rook 2 enters objective T they will move to objective V in sector 2. Knight will move to Knight BOF-1 after transporting infantry to the disembark marker to provide overwatch across the AO, after objective R is secure they will pickup rook and move them to Knight WP 1. Sector 2: Rook 1 will secure objective U and X with transport and screening from Knight. Rook 2 will secure W and together with Rook 1 they will secure objective X. Castle will secure objective V and move to Castle BOF-2 to overwatch objective W and X. Knight will drop-off Rook 1 at Knight WP 1 and screen towards the south-west until objective U is secured, after which they will will pick-up and drop-off Rook 1 near objective X. After which they will move to an overwatch position for Objective X and W. Sector 3: Rook 1, Rook 2 and Knight movement will be decided in the field. Castle Will secure objective Y and overwatch from Castle BOF-3, further movement to be decided in the field. ENDEX at objective Z
