Background Information
Bundeswehr forces regroup to acquire much needed firepower and change of tactics for their assault to secure the final pocket of the NE territory encompassing Läppälintu Airbase. Once this sector is secure only light clean-up work to the far West will remain to liberate the Virolahti region.

Friendly Forces
Bundeswehr Infantry Company with attached IFV support IFVs are setup with anti-armour, anti-infantry and anti-air capabilities.

Supporting Assets
Friendly forces holding the coalition front line are skirmishing around Nakarinmäki with Russian scouts and probing attacks.

Enemy Forces
Entrenched Russian infantry supported by various Russian motorized, armoured and rotary-wing assets. Enemy supplies are likely being stretched out due to a poor logistics train.


This mission's purpose is to close out the Russian N/E pocket in Virolatie. An important airbase has been reinforced and fortified by defending Russian forces, and is flanked by a separate vehicle depot [OBJ Deimos] and FOB [OBJ Phobos]. Russian troops stationed in these targets have entrenched themselves and consolidated their remaining supplies in an attempt to hold onto their foothold- your task is to break their resolve. Be aware of Russian QRFs arriving from Phobos or the MSRs to the North and North-East. Retreat back to Airbase Läppälintu for ENDEX once primary taskings have been secured.


Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to provoke enemy forces entrenched to our north east sector via indirect fire, IFV support and infantry envelopment. Once sufficiently rattled our aim will be to secure the Airbase, OBJ Mars followed by it's supporting bases. While doing so, we will protect the airfield from potential reinforcements from the north.

Tasks and Sequencing
All forces are readied at staging area Luna for deployment. Please see the attached tactical map for reference, on the left hand menu. PHASE 1 OUTLAW PLT depart LUNA NE on foot to neutralised enemy COP south of MARS to establish BOF PHANTOM PLT depart LUNA N on foot north, W of MSR to AP BOXCUTTER OUTLAT PLT make contact with enemy forces, draw fire PHANTOM PLT establish BOF to N MSR and E to OBJ MARS PHASE 2 PHANTOM PLT maneuvers E to set-up assault on OBJ Mars OUTLAW PLT maneuvers NNW clearing the sector toward OUTLAW WP5, in defilade to enemy defenses and behind W of PHANTOM PLT - maintaining supporting distance as required. PHASE 3 PHANTOM PLT commences entry to airbase, capture and hold OUTLAW PLT secures Checkpoint J on route to overwatch OBJ Deimos, capture and hold Phase 4 OBJ Deimos and OBJ Mars captured, PHANTOM and OUTLAW PLTs go-firm to permit logistics chain Dig in for counter offensives expected from the N and NE MSR Plans to be made for a further push to OBJ Phobos if time permits Phase 5 Reserved for further verbal tasking.


All platoons will carry emergency supplies in their Plt HQ Puma, which can be rapidly deployed at the discretion of the PltCo. Logistics teams staging from Luna between stages 1-3 will primarily rendezvous with Plt IFVs to replenish as required. Full LOGPAKs are expected at Phase 4 and emergency LOGPAKs as required via ground based logistics teams.

The primary means of MEDEVAC are the two attached ground based ambulance teams which can be deployed as required to support Squad medics with treatment or evacuation.

120mm Mortar will be provided by BLACKSMITH callsigns at staging point LUNA, to soften up enemy positions as required, targeting via the Platoon and Company command elements.
