--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationUS Quick Reaction Force BANDIT has been mobilised into a Bradley IFV and Humvee convoy from Camp Halliwell to Farhannah Province to rescue US Forces from Delta Platoon. In the last hour, Delta platoon reported an MCI due to friendly fire leaving the Combat Aviation Brigade grounded. Delta reports 12 survivors on the ground, holed up in Kallista PB and under heavy fire. A-10As from the 303rd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron are expected to arrive any minute, to give Delta's remaining forces the best chance of survival until our QRF arrives via it's ~20km route. Bandit infantry callsigns have been assigned and are responsible for their own Humvees whilst en-route.

Friendly Forces
Quick Reaction force Bandit has had to rapidly reconfigure into a 13 vehicle convoy due to disruptions to air operations, comprising: - QRF HQ Element in; -- 1x HMMWV M1025 - 2x Light Mounted Infantry Squads in; -- 4x 240b HMMWV M1025 Armament Carriers - 2x M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles - 2x HMMWV M997 Ambulances - 2x Light Medium Tactical Vehicles (LMTV) - 2x HMMWV M1025 Support Vehicles (Refuel/Repair/Rearm)
Supporting Assets
Delta platoon a US airborne infantry callsign suffering from a MCI in Farhanah Province, currently fighting Taliban insurgents from an ANA Patrol Base. ANA forces in Binnaz, in firefights with Taliban, south east of their established Patrol Base. The fighting is expected to continue for the next few hours of remaining daylight - however night vision is not required.
Enemy Forces
Taliban forces utilising captured APCs, Technical and guerrilla warfare, concentration of enemy forces in Farhannah and Temiran Valley. The enemy forces are expected to attempt to lay claim to Kallista and to attempt to surround and capture US forces. The main convoy route must pass through the yellow zone, where a number of towns (Efrane) and (Elmos) are thought to be Taliban controlled.
Mission
TaskingEnsure support units reach DELTA to secure it's survivors and retrieve the fallen while repelling advancing Taliban forces. - OBJ A - Escort support units to DELTA - OBJ B - Regroup with survivors of DELTA - OBJ C - Secure Kallista and the fallen servicemen
End-state
Capture and go-firm in Kallista to await further orders. If the QRF does not reach DELTA or DELTA do not survive, then the mission will be considered failed.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to deploy our QRF via convoy from Camp Halliwell to the Delta platoon MCI Position at a previously Taliban-captured ANA Patrol Base with the intent of relieving the survivors of the MCI and securing the MCI position.
Tasks and Sequencing
Simply, the mission will be conducted in 3 phases; Transit, Search & Rescue, Counter Attack. Phase 1 will consist of the Bandit convoy in-transit to friendly ANA territory just north of the target Farhannah province. Once there, Phase 2 will commence. Phase 2 will commence dependent on the position of Delta platoon's survivors. Delta platoon may have fallen back from the ANA PB they suffered an MCI in, thus once we reach ANA territory we will make the decision to either make a stop in the surviving ANA Patrol Base or press on if the survivors are still deep in the Farhannah province. Depending on Delta's reports of enemy movement and strength, we will secure the survivors and provide any required aid and resupply either in-field or back at whichever LCP the Blacksmith/ Vigil elements set up. All teams will then move together to the town of Kallista to re-secure the town (if necessary) and the ANA PB in which Delta suffered the MCI. Phase 3 will consist of a co-ordinated push back at Taliban forces. ANA forces on the South side of their territory have been sporadically fighting with Taliban and may need our assistance. Should they be fine without (or should we complete this quickly enough), we will also be tasked with counter-attacking deeper into Farhannah province, finding and destroying Taliban positions to provide a safer position into which ANA forces may deploy and civilian re-population may begin. Due to the primarily reactive nature of this mission, plans may be subject to change and refinement. Element leaders will be required to be flexible and ready to adapt to changing orders from above if necessary. Blacksmith and Vigil callsigns will remain in-convoy until they receive instruction to set up their forward LCP. This will be either in the ANA PB on the North side of their territory, or within Farhannah province dependent on Delta's position and intel. Both callsigns will also lead the clean-up of Delta's MCI position once secured. The Air Combat Element is to report in first with Bandit before being passed over to the Delta FAC once sent to their AO.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyDue to operating distance from Camp Halliwell, the convoy will need to travel with sufficient supplies for itself AND Delta platoon from the start. LCPs to be decided based on position of Delta platoon once reaching Phase 2.
Medical
If casualties are taken during Phase 1 & 2 before reaching Delta, they are to be loaded into the provided ambulance(s) , or- if casualty is mild enough- provided with enough blood to regain consciousness and loaded into their element's vehicle.
