Situation

Background Information
Earlier this week the U.S. Army Rangers ventured deep into hostile territory and successfully captured Gustav Mikel; the ChDKZ officer who initiated cooperation between Independent and OPFOR forces, and instigated an attack on the nearby town Vybor. Upon his detainment, Gustav Mikel informed the Rangers that two more Nationalist groups have been supplied with arms and are currently in preparation for additional attacks, but provided no further information. Mikel Gustav was very resistant to the questioning following his capture. The interrogation unit was only able to glean that the first Nationalist-ChDKZ stronghold is likely nearby the southeastern fields; rumors of threats on Kabanino confirm this. A US Army Ranger Squad is being dispatched to investigate threats on Kabanino, prevent any pending attacks on the town, and destroy a suspected nearby Nationalist stronghold along with all ChDKZ supplied weaponry.

Supporting Assets
The Estonian Armed Forces have been assigned to maintain security in frontline towns until the Nationalist-ChDKZ strongholds have been destroyed. The Estonian Armed Forces will not be accompanying the US Army Rangers on this operation

Enemy Forces
Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChKDZ) Forces are a state-backed paramilitary and as such, have access to a modern array of Russian equipment. Following the capture of Gustav Mikel, we are not expecting any ChDKZ presence outside of their frontline. Chernarussian Nationalists are comprised primarily of ex-military, police and civilians. They are typically equipped with a mix of older Soviet and Western equipment, although recently funneled ChDKZ supplies have resulted in an increase of vehicle presence. The Nationalists currently occupy all territory east of Kabanino and will fire on sight. A particularly well armed and dangerous stronghold of ChDKZ supplied Nationalists is expected to be nearby Kabanino.

Mission

Tasking
The US Army Rangers are tasked with investigating the threats placed on Kabanino, preventing any pending Nationalist attacks and ensuring the safety of the town. Additionally, the Rangers are tasked with finding and destroying the first of the two Nationalist groups supplied by Gustav Mikel, along with all discovered ChDKZ equipment, while preserving as much of the local infrastructure as possible. Initial reconnaissance shows Nationalist presence to the East of Kabanino and civilian presence in most towns and cities. Efforts to identify any definitive strongholds has been inconclusive. An AC-130U Gunship has been assigned to support the US Ranger squad, assisting with reconnaissance efforts for the suspected Nationalist stronghold, maintaining perimeter security in strongly Nationalist territory, and providing CAS as requested.

End-state
Prevent any attacks on Kabanino. Locate and destroy the first ChDKZ supplied Nationalist stronghold. Destroy all discovered ChDKZ equipment in Nationalist hands.

The goal of this mission is to prevent attacks on Kabanino, while delivering decisive blows to the Nationalist forces ability to wage war, geurrilla or conventional, in the immediate future.

Considerations
In the event that any persons are captured, the codeword "PINEAPPLE" will be used to designate a switch of 100 UP on the radio - ie: 250 becomes 350
