--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information
Following the retreat of Rook Platoon after contact with an overwhelming enemy defense, Dog Platoon has been tasked with conducting an aggressive counterattack this evening in order to penetrate and destroy the weakened Soviet front line before they are able to reorganize. This ORBAT is part of the Leadership CSIP, there are no 1st Fireteam Leaders as the Squad Leader also takes this position.

Friendly Forces
- [1x] Infantry Platoon - [3x] FV510 Warrior

Enemy Forces
Although Rook Platoon failed their primary objective, they succeeded in destroying a plethora of Soviet forces. Due to this, it is unlikely that Dog Platoon will encounter the same level of resistance. Motorized/Mechanized infantry are still to be expected.

Mission

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to take advantage of heavy Soviet casualties fighting Rook platoon and our own momentum, by counterattacking Northwards and liberating towns in the North East of the AO.

Tasks and Sequencing
DOG 9 will continue from our current position in Probien by heading North East and assault the town of Shlagte. In PHASE 1, DOG 3 will establish BOF on the West of the town whilst DOG 1 and DOG 2 ASSAULT and clear the East and West of the town respectively from their APs. When the town is clear DOG 1 will establish the new BOF in the North of Schlagte whilst DOG 2 and DOG 3 will ASSAULT Hagen from the South in their marked sectors. Upon reaching Phase Line 1, DOG 1 will move into town to take the outlying building in the east of town, while DOG 2 and DOG 3 continue clearing their sectors. The Platoon will then remount and head into PHASE 2. Dismounting at DM1, DOG 2 will move to establish BOF covering the North of Torwe and the MSR leading Eastwards from the town, where OPFOR QRF is most likely to come from. DOG 1 and DOG 3 will move to their APs and ASSAULT their sectors of the town. Upon capture of Torwe, taskings will be assigned based on operational effectiveness and enemy movement to capture the town of Gross Malchau in Sectors 1, 2 & 3, achieving ENDSTATE. NOTE: - Throughout Warriors are expected to deal with enemy armour, and cover the flanks of the platoon as well as the squad they are attached to. When deciding which side of the squad to operate on, the warrior should choose the flank on which there are no friendly assets as standard. - There is intel suggesting an OPFOR Special Forces team is operating in the area, SE of the AO. We do not know what their specific taskings are, but should assume some level of rear harassment, or disruption tactics to our operations. Teams should be wary of rear protection, especially in BOF positions, and should call any sightings of potential SF operators to DOG 9. - Due to the above, the plan is likely to change based on operational needs or situational dependency and each squad should be ready to deviate from tasking specified on OPORD in order to course correct
