--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information
After weeks of stagnation on the front line, British Commanders devise a plan to sabotage enemy positions during the night. If successful we will join our armoured columns to assault the main enemy garrison outside Monthene at sunrise. For now, we are ordered to cross no-mans-land undetected. Each of our Squads must destroy a key objective in time to allow a breakthrough on the front-line. This ORBAT is part of the Leadership CSIP, there are no 1st Fireteam Leaders as the Squad Leader also takes this position.

Friendly Forces
1x Command Unit 3x Infantry Sections

Supporting Assets
Armoured columns are standing by to conduct an assault.

Enemy Forces
German forces are not deeply entrenched on this flank, most of the fighting is happening north on Montherme, while we have the element of surprise, we can only expect patrols, support units and forces at half readiness.

Mission

Tasking
Our mission is to create a diversionary attack on the Wehrmacht support units on the eastern flank of Montherme to allow a full scale assault to take place in the morning, by sabotaging key Wehrmacht positions, we will give our forces the best chance of success.

End-state
Successfully sabotage all 3 objectives and regroup with Command

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to sabotage enemy positions north of Le Champ De Trou and south-east of Montherme, by startling Wehrmacht supporting units on their eastern flank during the night, we will make way for a much larger allied assault in the morning.

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 1 BAKER 1, BAKER 2, BAKER 3 have camped in the eastern forests of Le Champ De Trou undetected. Awaking in the early hours, orders have arrived from BAKER 9 and each squad has been issued sabotage instructions for three Wehrmacht objectives, staging from the forest ALL CALLSIGNS will identify INFIL and DESTROY assigned objectives, using their combat engineers TNT charges and black powder fuses. - Le Champ De Trou military barracks (infantry at rest and weapons store) - Artillery battery north of Le Champ De Trou - A Wehrmacht armoured convoy in a destroyed town, over the river and north of Le Champ De Trou (at rest, patrols active) With minimal patrols on the flank, ALL CALLSIGNS will (having received paper orders) step off at 0200hrs on their assigned mission for an attack at 0245hrs, signalling instructions are in paper orders. PHASE 2 If we are successful, allied units will commence an assault on Montherme, we have been invited to join from the eastern flank, if we are up to the job.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
ALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission, without support.
