--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information

Friendly Forces
Motorised Company 1x AH-6 Little Birds

Supporting Assets

Enemy Forces
Standard IS forces consisting of (VB)IEDs, technicals, IFVs and ACPs, IS are not known to operate MBTs in the AO.

Mission

Tasking
The main objective: - Retake COP Greencamp and secure its surrounding perimeter. Secondary objectives are: - Neutralise IS presence from Fort Morut - aid local civilian population - clear MSR of IEDs to secure a supply route to COP Greencamp

End-state
After retaking COP Greencamp and the Fort Morut. ENDEX at COP Greencamp.

Execution

Commander's Intent
Simply, the intent of this mission is to begin a thorough sweep of Shegamar Valley in order to discover and rout any enemy positions threatening our territory from the North. The company will conduct a mostly parallel push Northwards through AO SUGAR before pivoting to clear a known enemy fortified position in the town of Morut.

Tasks and Sequencing
Phase 0 will consist of initial movement along Route Baker to COY WP1. Convoy order as follows: ROOK PLATOON - WOLF PLATOON - WARLOCK HQ - DEFCON From COY WP1, at the start of Phase 1, ROOK 9 and WOLF 9 platoons will traverse to their own designated dismount area before beginning their Shegamar Sweep. Sectors O1 and O2 will preferably be cleared in parallel to minimise the potential to be flanked from the other sector. During Phase 2 the company will reach its furthest operating distance with WOLF 9 platoon heading over the dried riverbed to clear out Bramar. During this time both platoons should remain in a posture that will allow them to quickly respond to any emergent threat that necessitates the whole company's attention, should such a threat arise. Phase 3 consists of a methodical clearance of the town of Morut and the accompanying fortified position, Fort Morut. Sectors have been designated and will be assigned based on position and status of each platoon following Phase 2. Should a satisfactory Shegamar Sweep have been conducted for AO SUGAR, company will fall back to GreenCampBase for ENDEX. If the position is not defensible or cleared, extraction/ fallback will be organised to pull back to Kinduf Airbase.
