--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationContinuing the push started in operation kratos NATO forces continue to push CSAT back and look to take back Pyrgos, the main city in the South East of Altis.
Friendly Forces
Eagle Platoon of 3 x 14 man inf squads. 1x Blackfish Gunship 'Raven' in support
Supporting Assets
NATO forces hold the areas south and east of the city
Enemy Forces
CSAT have pulled back from the small town south west of the city and have begun evacuating supplies from the logistics hub in anticipation of our push. We believe the town is primarily garrisoned by infantry with potential for drone support. Upon the initial start fo the attack CSAT are suspected to attempt to reinforce Pyrgos with heavier assets from the north and QRF rotary assets from the airbase north west.
Mission
TaskingNATO forces are tasked with liberating Pyrgos from CSAT control and if possible capturing Gen. Vahid Namdar for questioning. Specifically they are tasked to: 1) Capture the CSAT logistics hub just outside research base solar 2) Liberate the city of Pyrgos 3) Take and hold the military HQ north of Pyrgos where Gen. Vahid Namdar is believed to be stationed
End-state
The ideal end state is for NATO forces to take and hold the military HQ north of Pyrgos
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to reclaim Pyrgos from CSAT forces, bringing the SE peninsula of Altis under NATO control.
Tasks and Sequencing
EAGLE 9 will start at Research Outpost Solar and begin by advancing North towards the CSAT logistical resupply hub. Intel indicates that CSAT are trying to abandon this position, whilst recovering as much logistical infrastructure as possible. The intention is to relieve them of these supplies as quickly as possible. EAGLE 1 will head to BOF-1 and engage CSAT forces in the Hub, harrassing them, pinning them and preventing any exfil/infil to the site. EAGLE 2 and EAGLE 3 will move via AP-1 and ASSAULT the hub, neutralising any OPFOR present and securing cache's and intel. From there EAGLE 9 will regroup and head north to BOF-2. Due to low lying ground, each team will need to advance up the main road past the Defensive tower in the South of Pyrgos, where Pyrgos itself is split into 3 lanes; 1, 2, and 3 and 3 phases, A, B, and C, creating 9 sectors that need to be retaken and secured against CSAT forces. EAGLE 1 will take lane 1, EAGLE 2 will take lane 2, and EAGLE 3 will take lane 3. If required, in order to facilitate rapid advance to Pyrgos, RAVEN is on standby to destroy the tower, eliminating CSAT southern defenses. In Pyrgos, there are many office buildings, churches, strongholds, HQ's, and ammunition caches, that need to be secured. HUMINT and SATINT have provided likely positions of these locations. Most will be fortified in some way, and we should expect heavy resistance, in close quarters. Once phase C has been completed, and the city of Pyrgos is under our control, our attention must turn to the main CSAT FOB in Phase D controlling operations in the SE peninsula. This is a large military compound with excellent defences and only one route inside on the NE edge. In order to facilitate the capture of this compound, EAGLE 1 will move on the NW side in sector 1D securing outlying buildings, and standing by as reserve to assault the compound where needed. EAGLE 2 and EAGLE 3 will approach AP-2 and AP-3 respectively. To allow approach, the main cargo towers, noted on map, will be destroyed by RAVEN, ensuring an un inhibitied approach. EAGLE 2 and EAGLE 3 will then vault H-barriers on their respective corners and clear their sector of the FOB. It is likely that a high ranking CSAT officer, Gen. Vahid Namdar, is present in this FOB and it is vital that, unless killed by the destruction of the towers, he is identified and taken into custody for interrogation.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyEmergency resupply and LOGPAKs will be coordinated through EAGLE 8 and delivered by AIR/GROUND by STARLIGHT 4.
Medical
- Medical support will be conducted using supporting elements (PAK off Field) in squad, and platoon medic will be routed to any MASCAS situations to establish a CCP.
