Situation

Background Information
To further the war effort and too capitalize upon the success of Operation iron road, High command has deemed it viable to do a large raid to destroy the uncomplete communications and fire support bases in the back region. With the aim of softening up enemy activity on the front line. The communication location has been revealed because of enemy force confiscating building materials and transporting them towards the new base. The Base expects a large convoy with troops and supplies to further the completion of the base. the convoy is expected to arrive at the check point at 10: 00 Hours. The fire support base has not been pin pointed yet but we have found a area small enough to warrant a raid

Friendly Forces

Enemy Forces
Infantry Light support vehicles BTR , 80 , 70 Possible QRF consisting of Transport trucks IFV BMP's 2 and 3's Platoon worth of MBT 's spread in different sections

Mission

Tasking
The unit is tasked to take out a Fire support base and a uncompleted communications base. To hamper the enemy solidifying their front.

End-state
Fortified firing position destroyed and uncompleted communication base dismantled. and extracted back to friendly lines

Execution

Commander's Intent
Insert Guardian Company and achieve: - Destroy Convoy before it reaches logistical base (under construction) - Destroy Artillery firing positions - Demolish logistical base

Tasks and Sequencing
STARTEX will be at the joint airbase to the north east of the AO. Phase 1: GUARDIAN 8 will mount OZONE and confirm locations for LZ Apple and then LZ Banana ALPHA will brief asap and depart towards LZ Apple following the green line abord 2 x mi8. These will be flown by RAVEN 4 and CROSSROAD H. Once inside the AO ALPHA will progress towards Checkpoint Zulu, avoiding contact for as long as possible. RAVEN 4 and CROSSROAD H will then RTB to collect BRAVO who will now have briefed. BRAVO and GUARDIAN 9 will insert to LZ Banana Once on the ground BRAVO will proceed towards Firing Base Yankee which should have been located by OZONE. Phase 2: Upon passing PL1 ALPHA will assault Checkpoint Zulu, destroy any supplies headed for Logistics base Xray and collect any intel about the construction which may be available. BRAVO will assault Firing Base Yankee and render it unusable Once we are loud we are expecting QRF therefore OZONE should watch for and eliminate these Phase 3: Upon passing PL2 ALL CALLSIGNS should assault Logistics base XrayENDEX. Given the staggered nature of the start ALPHA shall extract first aboard RAVEN 4 and CROSSROAD H while BRAVO shall extract second. Notes Ideally we want this to be a fluid raid rather than a prolonged engagement MANPADs have been sighted in the area therefore RAVEN 4 and OZONE should be aware of this Though we shouldn't go near any there is civilian presence in nearby towns, these are no fire zones for OZONE

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
Logpacks should be arranged via GUARDIAN 9 in good time. In particular AT states should be watched as it is hoped OZONE will deal with most heavy armour therefore there is not much infantry based AT capability.

Medical
- Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field)

Rules of Engagement
EPWs should be communicated to GUARDIAN 9 for extraction via RAVEN 4
