Mission
TaskingPHANTOM is tasked with infiltrating the Mountains East of Shegamar during Nighttime and disrupting critical IS logistical nodes along the presumed Cargo Route of OPFOR.
End-state
-Ramir and Tunkuf liberated, Supply Structure disrupted -Defensive Positions on Shegamar's East Flank established
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to eliminate enemy forces in the towns of Tunkuf and Ramir in order to alleviate the heavy pressure on KILO platoon.
Tasks and Sequencing
The mission comprises of 2 primary objectives and 2 secondary objectives Primary Objectives 1. To eliminate enemy forces controlling the outlying hostile area in the town of Ramir 2. To eliminate enemy forces in the main enemy operating area of Tunkuf Secondary Objectives 1. To detain/destroy any supply/cargo vehicles on the roads towards KILO's position 2. To remove hostile presence from any nearby camps in the local mountains PHASE 0 PHANTOM will mount up in 2 x Chinooks flown by pilots from BLACKSMITH and REAPER and move to LZ Nightingale. From there they will establish control of the LZ if needed and prepare to step off North into PHASE 1. PHASE 1 PHASE 1 sees PHANTOM move North through the mountains south of Ramir identifying any camps in the area and clearing/calling IDF as appropriate. Stealth is not required as the more attention can be drawn to our intent, the more OPFOR are diverted away from KILO's position. ARCHER will eliminate any observed camps not on route in coordination with PHANTOM 7. Having cleared camps, dealt with any expected, and intended, QRF sent to intercept us on route to Ramir, PHANTOM should arrive at AP-1, ready for PHASE 2. PHASE 2 LRP will be established if needed prior to the assault on Ramir including locating a site for REAPER to operate from4. ARCHER will provide support by barraging key sites within Ramir. There is no civilian presence here. Then PHANTOM will move into Ramir with PHANTOM 1 assaulting C1, PHANTOM 2 assaulting C2, and PHANTOM 3 moving West, before assaulting the vehicle compound on C6 and the IS checkpoint located there. Each team will move North-West with PHANTOM 1 clearing C1, C4, C5, PHANTOM 2 clearing C2, and C3, and PHANTOM 3 clearing C6, C7, and C8. Depending on combat effectiveness, the platoon will then orientate Westwards, with the first team establishing BOF, the second assaulting C9, the third assaulting C10, and the BOF team then moving to capture C11 when they are no longer required in BOF. After capturing Ramir, and with full security on entry roads from the South-West, North-West and North, BLACKSMITH will provide any required LOGPAK and REAPER any casualties. Following this, PHANTOM will step off West on WP-7, 8, and 9, hand-railing the road towards Tunkuf. PHASE 3 Again, ARCHER will provide preliminary fire support against key targets in Tunkuf. There is some civilian presence expected, so IDF will be limited to outlying checkpoints and encampments and will be avoided within the NO ARTILLERY ZONE. Moving from AP-2, PHANTOM will capture Tunkuf in a manner to be determined on the ground. Upon capture of Tunduf ENDEX.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyEmergency resupply and LOGPAKs will be coordinated through PHANTOM 8 and delivered by AIR by BLACKSMITH 4. This will be done via drop or by secured LZ to be determined in field.
Medical
The primary means of MEDEVAC is by AIR conducted by REAPER and requested via PHANTOM 8 Medical support will be conducted using supporting elements (PAK off Field). In order to facilitate this, casualties should be collected and delivered to the nearest CCP, established in-field, most likely near AP.
Rules of Engagement
CPERS should be turned over to PHANTOM 8 PHANTOM 8 for evacuation to the rear
