--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationThundering roar of F/A-18 Hornets will signal the start of Takistan's downfall. Ground based JTAC teams will coordinate precise air-strikes to completely and utterly destroy, disarm and decapitate Takistani military and logistical prowess in order to establish complete air supremacy over the region of Al-Rayak, in an effort to set the stage for an invasion of Takistan and cessation of all WMD activities in the region.
Friendly Forces
The strike group assigned to this mission consists of a flight of 2 F/A-18C Hornet CAP single-seat, callsign PHOENIX 5 , that are tasked with providing air protection and combat air patrol duties to protect the 6 F/A-18D two-seat multi-role jet fighters, tasked with CAS, against any and all air-to-air threats in the area, moving between sectors on a patrol pattern in an effort to maintain air supremacy in case of any enemy aircraft intercepting our air operations and air strikes in any of the 3 assigned sectors. Ground assets are composed of 3 teams (ADDER 1 , BADGER 2, FOX 3 ) of CIA SAD Paramilitary Operations Officers, led by a HQ element (CHECKMATE 9). Embedded in each team is an officer trained in Joint Terminal Attack Control whose main task will be to coordinate 2 F/A-18D aircraft assigned to each of the teams. Each team is expected to act on their own with CHECKMATE 9 coordinating them via BFT (Blue Force Tracker). Each of the 3 teams will be assigned their own sectors and sets of targets that they are expected to mark and designate for the 2 F/A-18D jet-fighters assigned to them.
Supporting Assets
The supporting assets in this mission will be USS Liberty, a Liberty-class cruiser destroyer as means of providing close air protection to the star of the fleet, USS Freedom (CVN-83), a Freedom-class nuclear powered aircraft carrier, that will serve as the main base of operations for all fixed wing assets, as well as the main logistics hub, rearming, refueling and resupplying all fixed wing assets as they need. Those logistics efforts will be coordinated through CASTLE 4 and will briefed to all FW callsigns prior to launch.
Enemy Forces
The enemy forces consist of various AAA and AA capable troops, including, but not limited too Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 jet fighter interceptors, Mikoyan MiG-29 air supremacy jet fighters, Aero L-159 ALCA light combat aircraft, Sukhoi Su-25 Grach jet fighters that are present in the Takistani National Air Force, alongside ZSU-23-4 Shilka SPAAGs, as well as 9K38 Igla MANPADS and SAM battery systems in use by the Takistani National Army. You are to maintain vigilance at all times, as their extensive AAA net and peer-to-peer jet fighters could pose a formidable threat should we get too comfortable.
Mission
TaskingALL CALLSIGNS will be briefed in detail on their missions, tasks and purposes in the field. What we can say, is, that the 3 JTAC teams will operate independently of one another, with each being assigned their set of objectives to complete autonomously in the field. Due to the high risk of enemy contact and the fact you will be operating deep behind enemy lines, you will be briefed in person to a much greater extent, in a safehouse before departing on your missions.
End-state
Once the JTAC teams conclude their BDA and confirm over 65% total destruction of objectives, you are to coordinate a rally effort and secure an LZ at the discretion of CHECKMATE 9 for EXFIL and ENDEX once you have returned to the carrier group.
Execution
Commander's IntentDeploy SF teams throughout the AO in order to paint and facilitate the destruction of targets to effectively cripple insfrastructure
