Situation

Background Information
Following a failed ANA attempt to destroy entrenched Taliban camps and AA positions blockading the northern corridor of Reshmaan, a platoon from the US Army 10th Mountain Division has been tasked with orchestrating fire support and assaulting the insurgent hold of the region...

Friendly Forces

Enemy Forces
The Taliban in this region are expected to be well enforced with infantry, APC/IFVs, fortifications and potential MBTs.


Mission

Tasking
1) Assault and capture or destroy enemy AA positions along western side of the AO. 2) Clear out enemy presence from camps and compounds within the AO. 3) Locate and retrieve captured ANA sniper team.

End-state
1) Enemy AA positions captured or destroyed. 2) Majority of Taliban presence in AO suppressed or destroyed. 3) Missing ANA sniper team safely secured.


Execution

Commander's Intent
Due to the size and terrain of the AO, Command intends to deploy GOLF in a mobile and aggressive manner, while the SF Team, KILO , will focus their efforts in finding and extracting the two missing ANA Specialists, carrying sensitive equipment and Intel.

Tasks and Sequencing
GOLF: Phase ALPHA: Will depart at LOD Southbound towards ZALEEKAH. Intel suggests low OPFOR presence. Scheme of maneuver per PLANOPS. Special tasking: GOLF 8 spots and tasks Artillery on enemy AA positions, Callsign "ROOK" on 80.00MHZ. Phase BRAVO: GOLF 1 confirms BDA on AA positions, screens Eastwards to confirm enemy Camp locations. GOLF 2&3 begin assault on OBJ JACKSON, clearing Compound 1,2 and C3 en route. Phase CHARLIE: ALL GOLF rallye and execute attacks on enemy camps in a bounding fashion. Phase DELTA: If viable, ALL GOLF take and hold remains of Wadi'ah. KILO: Tasking: -Departs eastbound, clears enemy presence in Husna. -reports crossed Phaselines to GOLF 8 or GOLF 9 -checks for BDA at the northernmost AA-position. -finds and searches enemy encampments for ANA Specialists or Intel. -moves to and EXFILs ANA Personnel, once found, returns to the fight.


Administration/Logistics

Resupply
Resupply purely by ZULU H via Air-drop at the designated DZ's, or emergency through GOLF 9. ALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LOD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission, support only at marked DZ's.

Medical
- Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field) -The primary means of MEDEVAC is by AIR, conducted by ZULU H, and requested via GOLF 9.

Rules of Engagement
In accordance with SOP

CAS provided by NOMAD and authorised via ZULU, in accordance with SOP.
