Mission

End-state
Romeo reports state of road and position of dispatched camps Mission is considered a failure if Romeo loses contact with PB Derya, or is unable to clear the roads.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to perform a reconnaissance patrol within the Area of Operations to find and neutralize Taliban Presence. Our aim is to clear out suspected Taliban positions and acquire intelligence to point us out to further positions. We must aim to cover as much ground as possible and control the Southern most road in the AO to deny Taliban Logistics in the region.
Tasks and Sequencing
Romeo Squad under the support of a BRDM and Sniper Team will depart from PB Derya and move South along the MSR to a reported Taliban Ambush. The Sniper Team, callsign Sierra, will be transported by the BRDM, callsign Romeo 1-3, towards OP-1 where they will establish forward recon on the T-Junction and South towards the Meira Valley. Romeo Squad will continue on foot along the MSR to establish contact with the site and search for potential survivors. Once the area has been secured, Romeo will continue towards the COP to the East that is believed to have been seized by the Taliban. One team will establish base of fire whilst another moves to secure the site. The BRDM will be on station to provide additional support. By this point, Sierra will have moved to OP-2 where they can get eyes on the COP and continue to scout Meira Valley and the surrounding region. Once the COP has been secured, Romeo will continue South along the MSR, clearing the route of potential IED's whilst they move through their waypoints. Once Romeo reaches the town of Dimah, which was confirmed to have Taliban presence, they will repeat the same principle of a BOF team whilst another pushes to seize with the BOF team joining once the first team has made entry. Sierra should by this point have moved to OP-3 where they can provide covering fire and intelligence. Once Dimah has been secured, Romeo will either continue along Route Alpha or Route Bravo situation dependent. Sierra will move to a relevant OP beforehand to scout whilst Romeo holds firm and looks for intel. Once Khaatir and Usaimah have been secured and searched for intel, Romeo will go firm along the Likely Supply Route whilst Sierra further scouts the surrounding area. End State will likely be when all forces have secured Usaimah and the Izzah Valley, however time permitting, we may move further West.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyAmmo Bearers have been attached to both Romeo Fireteams to help carry extra ammunition and equipment, as well as dedicated assistants for specialised weapon systems. Romeo 1-3's BRDM will also be carrying further ammunition and medical supplies, however if this is lost, we will need to fight with what we have as ANA forces in the region are stretched thin. Romeo 1-3 should aim to preserve ammunition in the BRDM as this will not easily be rearmed. An additional BRDM that has been used for spare parts remains at PB Derya incase Romeo 1-3 require a 'new' vehicle.
Medical
Medical Support will be conducted in the field (PAK in Field), with Romeo 1-3 able to carry additional medical supplies and PAK's. Casualty Collection Point's will be at the Medic's discretion.
Rules of Engagement
CPER's must be handled safely and with respect in accordance with SOP. All CPER's to be Stopped, Searched and Safeguarded until they are passed off to Romeo 1 Actual. Transport to the rear to be made possible by ANA and/or ANP. Romeo 1-3 to be on station to transport CPER's safely to Romeo 1 Actual as required.
