--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationIDAP has requested close protection during their supply-hand out in San Arulco. This area, despite being close to the goverment controled territory, is no stranger to cartel members extorting civilians and IDAP personel alike. NOTE: THIS IS A LOW-KINETIC PEACEKEEPING DEPLOYMENT, MIND THIS WHEN SLOTING!
Friendly Forces
2x M1165A1 Ground Mobility Vehicle (GMV) 1x HMMWV
Supporting Assets
Posibility of Sahrani MP, fire and ambulance services in the area.
Mission
TaskingPeform a protection detail for IDAP workers from maning the outer checkpoint, patroling the close by area and staying close by the personell.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe main purpose of our mission is to provide protection to the IDAP personnel operating within San Arulco. The local cartel is known to be operating within the region, and have also been known to use their power, influence and money to extort civilians and manipulate NGOs/Government officials for their own purposes.
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0: • All Bravo 1 callsigns will conduct final equipment and readiness checks. • All callsigns will assemble at RP-0 for briefing at 1800 UTC. PHASE 1: • Bravo 1 callsigns will mount into their assigned vehicles and form a convoy to depart from Camp Eddie, the convoy will then depart to link up with the awaiting IDAP vehicles at Tucos. The convoy order will be as follows: Bravo 1-1 Bravo 1 IDAP 1 IDAP 2 Bravo 1-2 • The convoy will depart from FOB Eddie towards San Arulco, following the route determined by the field leader. Local traffic regulations shall apply and compliance with Government personnel at any checkpoints shall be followed, so long as they do not hinder or attempt to disrupt our operation. The Government and local Police constabulary is known to have corrupt officials working with the Cartel, so vigilance must be upheld. PHASE 2: • Upon reaching San Arulco, BlackClaw operatives shall assume defensive positions and remain in close protection of IDAP personnel while they carry out their humanitarian operation. The local civilian populace is expected to be desperate for aid and supplies, so standard crowd control procedures and vehicle traffic cordons around the NGO camp are to be prepared. • No intelligence we've gathered thus far have indicated any immediate threat to the operating NGOs, however the threat level is still expected to be high. (Ref. Rules of Engagement in the below section, Administration.) • Any interactions with the civilian populace should be cordial, any information we can gather about the Cartels, Rebels or corrupt Government Officials may help us with our future endeavours in the region. PHASE 3: • Once IDAP have concluded their operation, all Bravo 1 callsigns will mount their vehicles and form into the same convoy order as in Phase 1, and will escort IDAP along the same ingress route back towards Camp Eddie. • After all elements have returned to the base, all callsigns shall muster at RP-0 for debriefing.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyElement leaders shall ensure they have reserve supplies and ammunition loaded into their assigned vehicles. No dedicated logistical elements are available during this operation. In the event of a friendly vehicle being disabled, the unit's attached engineer shall be able to perform operational repairs in the field.
Medical
Primary casualty care will be provided by each fireteam's assigned medic. In the event of a MASCAS situation, ground based vehicle CASEVAC is permitted. All accompanying team members will crew the unit's attached vehicles, load all casualties onboard and depart to the nearest friendly occupied position or base of operations. (PAK in-field enabled.)
Rules of Engagement
Only armed combatants actively engaging IDAP or friendly personnel shall be engaged with returned fire only. No other weapon discharges are authorised. Warning shots towards individuals attempting to disrupt the operation require permission from the most senior field leader. Changes to the rules of engagement may only be authorised at the discretion of the most senior field leader.
