--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information
The regional capital, Beketov, has been under enemy occupation for almost a year. With the majority of the county re-taken, Beketov and the cut-off airbase near Malye Kupstsy are the two remaining major areas under enemy control. Liberating Beketov will ensure that the enemy will most likely retreat from the Karlovac county.

Friendly Forces
Mechanized Infantry Platoon; - 2x BMP 2 - 1x HEMTT - 1x Repair Truck - 1x Ambulance - 1x Humwee for platon HQ Supported by: - 1x JAS 39 Gripen (Jets DLC !)

Supporting Assets
- Friendly forces are operating around Malye Kupstsy. - "Sokolovi" from C Company 2nd Mech Batt are attacking beketov from the north, from Bolshie Kuptsy. WARNING: CIVILIAN PRESENCE IN THE CITY!

Enemy Forces
It is believed, that a battalion of mechanized infantry stationed in Beketov, with a company of rear guard units. Supporting them; - tank company - Rotary and fixed wing squadrons

Mission

Tasking
Begin liberation of Beketov.

End-state
After securing the 2nd district, the 72nd will reground and co-ordinate an assault with "Sokolovi" on the remaining district.

Execution

Commander's Intent
Commanders intent is to sweep through Beketov's Eastern districts, clearing it of all enemy presence and potentially securing a bridgehead for follow up operations to retake the Western districts

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 Platoon will form and brief at FOB Refosk (near Greznovo, East of AO) in preparation for the days operations. It will depart for a disembark point East of Veremeevo PHASE 1 Upon dismount, platoon will proceed on foot West. One squad will hold around BOF marker to provide suppression as required while the other makes the assault onto an outpost identified at hill mark 28. Once it is reached the BOF squad will move to catch up while the outpost is cleared. From here, the maneouvre will be repeated to allow one squad to assault the SE sector of Veremeevo. The second squad will follow up with an assault on the NE, and each squad will respectively clear the Northern and Southern halves of the town as designated, before conducting a joint attack on the Patrol Base (PB) on the towns Western side. At this point it is expected to be desirable to LOGPAK ahead of attacking into Beketov itself. PHASE 2 LIGHTNING will proceed on foot Southwards towards a clump of vegetation intersected by an MSR, marked OP1. In the meantime Foxhound will be tasked with destroying a checkpoint to the West via long range fire. From OP1, the platoon will assault Southwards into the 3rd district. Once we are out of the open and in the urban environment, we will pivot East and focus on eliminating defences in order to create an easier access route for friendly logistics as a first priority. Sector 1A and 1B may be cleared concurrently, followed by 2A and 2B. If this proves to stretch us too thinly, we will reconsolidate and reassign smaller sectors. As with Phase 1, it is expected to be desirable to logpak before moving into Phase 3. PHASE 3 Following on from sectors 2A and 2B, we will push into and secure sectors 3A and 3B. From there, it should be a straight jaunt South into a small housing estate, before we assault the factory complex. Finally, if time allows, we may make a probing attack across the river on the South end.
