Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 Once verbal briefing has given Elements will mount up in convoy order BADGER 1 BADGER 2 BADGER 9 DOG 4 PHASE 1 If not in contact yet we will move until Dismount Alpha After dismounting The biggest Squad goes to the FOB The other will move to C1 Depending on the contact in the base we will determine if the other element needs to go help out in the FOB. Or if they are going to clear the town of Maly Bor. Vehicle are to support both elements Notes on assault We come from higher ground but due to trees not a great view There is a small dip just before we get close to the base There is some open ground to cross from the tree line to the entrance. Large open ground between C2 and the base PHASE 2 On capture of the base we should provide security while Log pack for the whole platoon is arranged. QRF is expected to arrive from the south and west we should defend until friendly troops come to relief us. PHASE 3 After friendly units take over from u we will mount up and move to phase line 3 and follow the road Actions on is to push trough until breach of AP Alpha has been made. In to the town BADGER 1 takes south side of the town BADGER 2 will take norths side Once town is secure hold for possible Counter from enemy until friendly troops come to relief us and we can get some well earned R&R Notes on assault Road is very long and open The area around is very open not that much concealment or cover Speed is critical for the infantry to get into the town South open area most likely QRF approach Priority to secure a compound is critical to let logistical elements be close to support vehicle repair/ and rearm
