Situation
Background InformationFollowing on from the re-capturing of the weapons plant, the NATO task force have authorized the final assault on Georgetown. With it due to take place next week, it's vital that preparations are made so forces can be staged for the final push in a weeks time.
Friendly Forces
UNITAF Forces will be comprised of a Platoon of Airborne Infantry, supported by two Knighthawk Helicopters
Supporting Assets
To the south, on the main supply route to Georgetown, the primary US and NATO Ground force will be pushing up from the South East.
Enemy Forces
The enemy has been preparing for our final push for weeks now, and is likely to be thoroughly entrenched on all sides, we know they have been placing hundreds of mines along the road to Georgetown, as well as setting up fortified positions. Without the ability to launched fixed wing aircraft, it's ability to rapidly recon our movements is lessened. Even so, thousands of infantry are suspected to remain on the road to Georgetown, as well as a disgruntled population rioting against their defiant government. The enemy is entrenched, prepared and not willing to give up.
Mission
Tasking- Support the USMC and NATO Ground Assault by Clearing the North East MSR - Clear any remaining, outlying camps along the route - Join the joint assault on the heavily entrenched enemy position, on the road to Georgetown - Capture the final military garrison
End-state
Once captured, hold the enemy position and go-firm to await further orders.
Execution
Commander's IntentTo clear the route from the north towards Georgetown from enemy forces, and to capture and hold the enemy Garrison - with minimal loss of life, or damage to infrastructure or buildings. On assaulting OBJ/F, move methodically and build defenses while conducting fire an maneuver, a slow and methodical advance will win us this battle.
Tasks and Sequencing
- Bishop will be inserted with King 9 by Rook to the Insertion Point - Bishop 1 will follow the Green Route, clearing the MSR of Mines - Bishop 2 will target key enemy camps on route - Regroup prior to final assault - Rook callsigns to provide interdiction of outlying enemy forces, in addition to providing close air support as directed by King 9 Romeo and in addition, provide LOGPAC and MEDIVAC support as required. Engineers must have mine detectors OBJ-A & B - Clear bridge crossings (Assigned to Bishop 1) OBJ-C & D - Clear MSR checkpoints (Assigned to Bishop 2) OBJ-E - Regroup to assault (All Bishop and King 9 Callsigns) OBJ-F - Capture fortified enemy garrison
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyLOGPACs will be provided at two phases, and frontline resupply is possible for entrenched positions. In addition we have the capability to airdrop supplies behind the front-line via aerial support units.
Medical
CCPs should be 100-200 metres behind the front-line. A MEDEVAC APC will be present and will be used as a mobile CCP

US Navy Knighthawk Helicopters, Callsigns Rook 1 and Rook 2 will provide aerial reconnaissance, .50cal suppression and rocket attacks on targets as ordered by the Forward Air Controller, targets can be marked (both friendly and enemy) according to signals below, and fire missions can be requested through the Platoon Commander, KING 9 ACTUAL.
