--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationCaptured Chernarus Nationalist leadership has been providing valuable intelligence to UEF handlers. In particular, we have received actionable intelligence about a Nationalist spy working undercover in Russian-backed ChDKZ territory. Said spy is a research scientist believed to confer intelligence during his morning commute to the base at which he works. Somewhere along the route West from his abode in Solnichniy we believe he will conduct a meeting to pass on valuable intelligence to the Nationalists. This intelligence must be intercepted, and the scientist spy tailed to his base before capture- the base is supposedly working on secretive research and is therefore a position of interest. The UEF wishes to know details about ChDKZ QRF response time and composition, which UNITAF will also gather intelligence on during their deployment.

Friendly Forces
UNITAF will deploy an infantry platoon with support from a mortar team and scout sniper team.
Supporting Assets
No friendly supporting forces on standby.
Enemy Forces
Once in ChDKZ territory, expect heavy patrols and high security particularly around strategic assets. ChDKZ forces have access to heavy aircraft and armour and will likely deploy them in their QRFs. The AO we are deploying to will not be as heavily patrolled as main assets but will require careful planning and movement to avoid detection.
Mission
TaskingPrimary Tasking -Find out where the Nationalist spy passes intel/ who he passes intel to. -Capture Nationalist spy once the base he works at is confirmed. -Extract Nationalist spy from ChDKZ-controlled land. Secondary Tasking -Gather intelligence on ChDKZ QRFs and their actual response time. -Destroy the ChDKZ arms factory construction site.
End-state
Extraction of the Nationalist spy and UNITAF ground forces back to Johnston Airbase is required.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission, is to insert deep into ChDKZ territory to covertly intercept communications made by a double-agent, codename SCORPION, locating his contact who is leaking intel to the rebels. Second, to capture the double-agent and third, to create a distraction to draw out enemy QRFs in order to gather intelligence on QRF formation and response times. The end state, is to break contact west outside of ChDKZ territory with our captive for extraction back to Johnston Airbase via GUARDIAN.
Tasks and Sequencing
ECHO and HUNTER will be inserted via static line under darkness to DROP ZONE ALPHA, just outside of ChDKZ territory. ECHO will work with Hunter to trace SCORPION on ROUTE TANGO, a known commuting route of SCORPION who drives a small hatchback and is known to stop along this route, where we suspect he meets a insurgent contact.

Administration/Logistics
ResupplyDue to positioning, LOGPAKs will be delivered outside the AO via air, unless situational requirements allow for tactical insertion by light rotary aircraft. HUNTER 2 will carry basic re-supply in case of emergency. Emergency LOGPAK can be delivered via airdrop.
Medical
The primary means of MEDEVAC is by air, callsign GUARDIAN through the Forward Air Controller. The backup is via local medical facilities, as identified.
Rules of Engagement
The Chernarus Nationalist spy is to be handled humanely - he will be much more likely to co-operate if treated well, and may provide higher quality intelligence.
Fire Support Plan
Mortar provided by HUNTER is authorised through the Platoons Forward Observer,. in accordance with SOP.
Close Air Support
In accordance with SOP
