--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationA reconnaissance mission into ChDKZ territory today suffered a critical mission failure; the HVT asset targeted for pickup was killed and 80% of the friendly force was wiped out during retreat. We have found that an overwhelming Chedaki QRF attacked friendly teams much more quickly and effectively than expected. The surviving troops from the mission have made contact and requested assistance with extraction. In order to secure a safe route from near ChDKZ territory and through known Nationalist pockets, UNITAF will be conducting a motorized patrol up to the location the survivors have designated for RV.
Friendly Forces
Motorized platoon: 2x Rifle Squad 2x HMMVW GPK 2x Troop Transport Truck 1x HMMVW Covered [Medical support vehicle + Plt transport]
Supporting Assets
Friendly forces are bunkered down in a burnt-out church near Guglovo; not many remain from the initial force and several are in critical condition and being worked on by their medics.
Enemy Forces
Nationalists are holding the towns of Stary Sobor and Novy Sobor; we expect a fairly stiff resistance when pushing these towns. The usual mis-matching equipment on behalf of the Nationalists is to be expected.
Mission
TaskingUNITAF is to conduct a motorized patrol to the designated RV point with the surviving friendly force. The towns along the route must be cleared of enemy threats so Little Bird transport helicopters are able to fly NOE to come and collect the friendlies. Civilian support for the Ukraine Expeditionary Force and United Task Force is very low in areas we have yet to show face; UNITAF will be expected to conduct themselves well around civilians and attempt to get them on-side. With their support we can begin to secure the rest of Chernarus from the Nationalists. Civilians may also have valuable intelligence on Nationalist forces and affairs. Primary Tasking -Secure the towns along the projected patrol route; -Secure Stary Sobor -Secure Novy Sobor -Secure Guglovo -Rendezvous with the surviving special forces teams and wait until they are extracted via Little Bird (if possible)
End-state
Once surviving special forces teams are secured and exfiltrated by Little Bird aircraft, UNITAF is to return to Johnston Airbase.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to do a force recon in to the Nationalist sector while picking up special force hunkered down in a church in figures 083060. While we do this we stop and do a presence patrol in the towns of Stary Sobor, Novy Sobor and Guglovo. With the intent to get the locals on our side and to gather possible enemy intel about Nationalist camps. The end state of this mission should be that the special force have been picked up and the Taskforce Returned to Airfield
