--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationDue to lack of satisfactory progress during the last foray East of Johnston Airbase and the still-present ChDKZ threat around the Oil Fields, UNITAF will redeploy to the AO and attempt to re-secure the Oil Fields and surrounding land. The Nationalist FOB to the South has been reinforced since we were last in the area and will present a more capable threat to our force, and we have identified a Chedaki Command & Control Centre located in a castle further East. Securing this section of the Chernarus region will allow breathing room around our airbase and hopefully provide a stepping-off point for further pushes into ChDKZ territory later in the campaign.
Friendly Forces
'Outlaw 9' Rifle Platoon consisting of 2x Rifle Squad. 'Anvil 9' Main Battle Tank Section consisting of 2x M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank. 'Groundhog 9' Fixed Wing Close Air Support consisting of 1x A-10C Thunderbolt II.
Supporting Assets
A UEF defence team is positioned at COP Hades for security. UEF Mi-8 Helicopters may be seen ferrying supplies to COP Hades during your operation.
Enemy Forces
We expect similar resistance to the initial defense last week, a large ground infantry force supported by armor and the possibility of enemy rotary aircraft.
Mission
TaskingUNITAF is tasked with completing phases 2 and 3 from last mission, specifically: Re-securing the Oil Fields which are again occupied by ChDKZ forces; securing the Nationalist FOB to the South of the Oil Fields. In addition, UNITAF will push just into ChDKZ territory to take over the Command and Control centre which has been overseeing the ChDKZ push towards Johnston Airbase. Primary Tasking -Secure positions of interest in the unclaimed territory East of Johnston Airbase; -Secure the Oil Fields -Secure the Nationalist FOB. -Assault and secure the ChDKZ C&C Centre. Secondary Tasking -Extract any civilians and other non-combatants caught in the fighting. -Search for intel at the Nationalist FOB and ChDKZ C&C Centre.
End-state
After neutralizing the enemy command and control center, return to Johnston Air Base, or go-firm.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to re-take the oil-field, and continue on with our progress in re-capturing the nationalist controlled zone between our and the enemy front line. With the minimum of friendly and the maximum of enemy casualties, while protecting civilians, prisoners of war and infrastructure.
