--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationAfter a large territory expansion the middle east by ISIS - British and American Forces in it's combined joint task force group United Task Force, have been rotated into a new area of operations alongside coalition forces, moving towards the western regions of Syria to aid in direct action, counter-insurgency and training with the Syrian Armed Forces against the ever growing Islamic State (IS). IS has grown in strength since our last run-in with them during the Daesh Dawn Campaign in Iraq. Henceforth more force will be required to aid this region from it's dire state. We are aware that IS control about 80% of the region. To make matters more difficult we are aware that Russia are also fighting against the Syrian National Army further east, they do not wish to partake in any efforts against IS unless provoked directly. As part of massive coalition effort in OPERATION BRIMSTONE, our forces deployed in the region are to regain control and destroy any reminders that highlights Islamic State's ideology of territorial expansion, and radical extremism.

Friendly Forces
1 x Platoon US Rangers with EOD Specialists and Interpreters 1 x MRAP Section 1 x Support Squadron with Mortar Support
Supporting Assets
Presence of Syrian National Police or Syrian National Army in the area.
Enemy Forces
IS has become overwhelmingly more powerful in recent months, having captured large parts of Syria and now possessing a large arsenal of equipment, both from the Syrian Army and Air Force but also equipment provided by both the US and coalition allies in previous years to the Syrian Armed Forces to combat IS, such as HMMWVs. IS are brazen, and outgoing unit commanders report frontal attacks on garrisons, civilian targets and a consistent use of both IEDs and VBIED attacks on coalition targets, which often can come at the most least suspecting moments. Intelligence from outgoing units conveys; Irregular Infantry Forces Marksmen VBIEDs Non-Standardized Tactical Vehicles *Disclaimer this intel is based on previous encounters with Islamic State and may not be entirely accurate.
Mission
TaskingThe unit is to establish a presence further along Puesto Vulcan Valley. There are multiple villages in the valley as well as an Abandoned FOB about 1km down from FOB which would be a good staging area for a forward observation team, providing a good foothold in the valley.
