Situation
Background InformationUS Rangers are to move further south after encounters with the Syrian National Police during a battle with ISIS in Nefer. Police were found to be untrustworthy. Command would like to ensure that they are fully aware of the situation and make sure there are no Islamic State sympathizers within their ranks.
Friendly Forces
1x Platoon Light Infantry and EOD Capability 1x Support Platoon with ATGM, MRAP Section and Sniper Attachments 1x HQ Element with Logistics Support

Syrian National Police will be in the area. *Disclaimer we are unsure whether the National Police are trustworthy so take everything said with a pinch of salt.
Enemy Forces

Mission
TaskingThe Task Force must move south to the village of Limar to investigate the situation with the police in the area, patrolling in and around Limar for any sign of enemy presence. Should time allow, once the town has been investigated we are to move further south to assault a known Islamic State stronghold situated around Mayankel and push Islamic state forces back out of Mayankel.
End-state
Mission completion will be called once the situation of the National Police has been sorted and forces of Mayankel have been repelled.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to meet with and discuss the ISIL activity with the SNP Garrison in Limar, to gain intelligence about enemy force composition and strength in the area to the south of our sector. The stretch goal is to patrol further in preparation for a future assault on Mayankle.
