Situation
Background InformationThe time has come to deal ISIS forces in the northern region the hammer blow. Authorization has been given for a large scale invasion of the city of Kalae Noowi. The former Syrian Air Force base to the west is one of the largest in the province and it's recapture will give both the Syrian and allied forces a substantial capability in projecting our forces further south in the coming months.
Friendly Forces
A company of infantry with APC support. 2 x USAF F-16 Falcons flown in from Cyprus. 2 x CH-47 Chinooks Multiple APC and MRAPs
Supporting Assets
Syrian National Army will be holding off forces on the south west of the airfield.
Enemy Forces
We can expect the full might of ISIS using some of they best assets: Infantry Medium-heavy armed vehicles VBIEDs Drone-Based IEDs MBTs (T-34s, T-55s T-72s) Armed Helicopters Armed Fixed Wing
Mission
TaskingOur mission, to capture KN Airbase from complete ISIS Control, and hold it in preparation for a ground assault through the heart of the city in the following days and weeks. A warlord is also known to be in the airfield. Intel tells he is ruthless and will not be easy to capture without a fight being put up. It is essential that this Warlord is captured as we can almost guarantee that he will have intel on other warlords in the area. Elimination of this Warlord will not be acceptable.
End-state
Once ISIS Forces have been eliminated/pushed into Kalae Noowi City and the HVT Captured the mission will be an endex state.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission, is to Capture KN Airbase from ISIS Control, capture it's Commander alive and to do so with minimum damage to infrastructure and to prevent civilian loss of life.
Tasks and Sequencing
We will insert north west of the Area of Operations, which has been split into Sector Phases 1-6 (or A-F) which will be captured sequentially.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyLOGPAKs will be provided at each Sector A-F by the Logistics Chief
Medical
Ground based Medical Support will be provided at each Sector, in the previous sector, MEDIVAC helicopters will be on standby for emergencies.

EPWs should be turned over to the Company Command Element.
