--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information
Russia has started an invasion on Finnish soil overnight, sending troops in large parts in the east of Finland. Because of the overwhelming power and size of the Russian Army Finland had to fall back further inland making it easy for Russia to occupy Virolahti. A coalition between Britain, France and Germany was created to support Finland. Germany being the main force on the ground with the Bundeswehr. The UK supporting with the Royal navy and France supporting with the Armée de l'Air throughout the campaign. We are to push Russia out of Finland whilst providing support to any civilians where nessisary.

Friendly Forces
1X PLATOON INFANTRY 1x Command ATF Dingo 1x Medical Fennec 2X 20mm Wiesel AWC

Supporting Assets
No friendly forces will be in the area.

Enemy Forces
We can expect the following: Russian Foot Soldiers. Light Armed Vehicles. Medium Armed Vehicles APCs Possible BTRs Mi-8s and Mi-24s

Mission

Tasking
The unit must reach the peninsula and and push up to the airfield, breaking through the defense line. Even though the airfield is small and likely will not be able to be used for any advanced fixed wing aircraft it will be a place in-land where we can store assets such as MBTs and Helicopters. It will play a strong part in helping us deploy in future operations.

End-state
Once the defence line has been broken and the airfield has been taken the mission will Endex on the airfield.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to capture a well defended position within Finland so that Bundeswehr may operate from the airfield deploying a higher level of assets. We will also be breaking a defense line built by the Russians once the Bundesmarine began to move into the area. This will allow our fleet to move in close to shore and start deploying assets.

Tasks and Sequencing
The Platoon will be inserted via 2 landing craft which will carry the the entire platoon and the vehicles whilst under covering fire from the Bundesmarine. The unit will unload on the south eastern side of the peninsula and begin to move to their designated area. Once the platoon has moved to their sections they will move up towards the defense line clearing out any patrols up to the Phase 1 Line. Once the troops reach the phase 1 line Wolf 1 and 2 will begin hitting the defence line. The wiesels will be allocated to a squad depending on the situation and the weapons squad, Wolf 3, will be putting down suppressive fire onto the defense line whilst Wolf 1 and 2 callsigns move in. We can expect entrenched positions and fortified bunkers along this line. Once the defense line has been defeated the callsigns will then move onto the airfield. To do this the callsigns will clear up to their OP markers and once in place they will begin to assault the airfield. Wolf 3 and 2 will be stationed to the north east on raised ground whilst wolf 1 will attack from the south. Once Wolf 1 is in position to move onto the airfield Wolf 2 will move from it's OP and assist with the attack under covering fire from Wolf 3 and Badger. Once the airfield has been taken over there is a possible QRF coming from further land. If that comes the platoon will occupy the airfield in defensive positions and hold it off. Once the QRF has been stopped we will endex on the airfield.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
LOGPAKs will be dealt with via Platoon HQ and Badger callsign. Each Badger callsign will be carrying supplies and can be sent to wolf callsigns on request.
