--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationRussia has started an invasion on Finnish soil overnight, sending troops in large parts in the east of Finland. Because of the overwhelming power and size of the Russian Army Finland had to fall back further inland making it easy for Russia to occupy Virolahti. A coalition between Britain, France and Germany was created to support Finland. Germany being the main force on the ground with the Bundeswehr. The UK supporting with the Royal navy and France supporting with the Armée de l'Air throughout the campaign. We are to push Russia out of Finland whilst providing support to any civilians where nessisary.
Friendly Forces
1X PLATOON INFANTRY 1x Command ATF Dingo 1x Medical Fennec 2X 20mm Wiesel AWC
Supporting Assets
No friendly forces will be in the area.
Enemy Forces
We can expect the following: Russian Foot Soldiers. Light Armed Vehicles. Medium Armed Vehicles APCs Possible BTRs Mi-8s and Mi-24s
Mission
TaskingThe unit must reach the peninsula and and push up to the airfield, breaking through the defense line. Even though the airfield is small and likely will not be able to be used for any advanced fixed wing aircraft it will be a place in-land where we can store assets such as MBTs and Helicopters. It will play a strong part in helping us deploy in future operations.
End-state
Once the defence line has been broken and the airfield has been taken the mission will Endex on the airfield.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to capture a well defended position within Finland so that Bundeswehr may operate from the airfield deploying a higher level of assets. We will also be breaking a defense line built by the Russians once the Bundesmarine began to move into the area. This will allow our fleet to move in close to shore and start deploying assets.
Tasks and Sequencing
The Platoon will be inserted via 2 landing craft which will carry the the entire platoon and the vehicles whilst under covering fire from the Bundesmarine. The unit will unload on the south eastern side of the peninsula and begin to move to their designated area.

Administration/Logistics
