--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationFollowing our battle in the northern District, the SNA have been able to deploy it's garrison back into the city, and hold a number of key posts in the northern district, including a number of road checkpoints between the north and south districts. ISIS supports have fled, and reside predominantly in the southern district, and with ISAF forces to the west, east and SNA to the south, they are surrounded and have nowhere to hide. ISAF have identified a number of key positions in the southern district, but our unit is tasked with combing through it, and detaining or combatting any final resistance so the whole city can be turned back to the SNA, and so ISAF can move it's operation position back to the Airbase.
Friendly Forces
1x Platoon Infantry 1x Platoon Humvee 1x MQ-9 Reaper Overwatch 1x Command Element 1x Logistics Element
Supporting Assets
Syrian National Army and Syrian National Police are in the area.
Enemy Forces
Expect mostly infantry to be remaining in the immediate area. Expect IEDs, VBIEDs and Technicals. Any response forces that may move in are expected to use medium armed vehicles.
Mission
TaskingOur primary mission is: To clear sectors A-H in the southern district of the city, from opposition forces and equipment (vehicles/weapons/caches) Our secondary objectives are: OBJ A & OBJ B - Search suspected POW building(s) OBJ C - Confiscate ISIS Weapons Cache OBJ D - Disarm and handover ISIS VBIED Garage OBJ E - Surround, secure and capture the suspected Bomb Makers' Compound Following mission compeletion, we will return to our base at the airfield. We have had requests to limit the amount of gunfire being shot at and into buildings so where possible please enter buildings to engage targets. Expect some buildings to be laid with traps, specifically tripwires, as the opposition force has had time to prepare. We are to capture high value targets for interrogation. Reports also suggest that there are multiple civilian POWs who are due to be escorted out of the city when ISIS begin pulling out of the area, we have marked a number of suspected buildings for this - although not all intel will be accurate.
End-state
Once the POWs are secured and Bomb Maker captured and the Company is back at the airfield safely then endex will be authorised.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to secure SECTORS A to SECTORS H, including the search interior structures. During this time our mission is to complete Objectives A-E. We'll do this in a north to south movement, with the Company spread across a 700m wide frontline and in 4 distinct phases (Phase 0 to Phase 3) each phase coordinating efforts on both sides of the front line. We must do this with MINIMAL damage in infrastructure, being careful both in and around buildings, as well as with minimal loss to human life, with a large civilian presence in the area. This will facilitate the ISAF capture and construction of a large base to the west of the city, supporting future operations. The end state is to reach that base.
Tasks and Sequencing
Callsign Ranger will lead the way, splitting it's platoon across the 700m frontline, RANGER 1 will take the west side, and RANGER 2 the east side. RANGER will move south, through PHASES 0-3 clearing sectors and structures in accordance with the commanders intent. Callsign Viking will support Ranger by providing additional weapons support and rapid transport around the city, with it's total capacity of 12 additional passengers over 4 vehicles. With additional transport requirements being met by WATCHMAN and BLACKSMITH as required.

Administration/Logistics
ResupplyLOGPAKs will be provided by BLACKSMITH; - for Ranger at a requested position with a predetermined delay - for Viking at the ISAF HQ Vehicle maintenance will take place at the ISAF HQ.
Medical
The primary means of medical evacuation will be the movement of battlefield casualties to the hospital at the ISAF HQ, where casualties will be dealt with by doctors and then discharged.
Rules of Engagement
EPWs should be turned over to HQ elements and then to Blacksmith for processing. Alternatively if more convenient, RANGER should turn over EPWs to VIKING who turns them over to Blacksmith.
