--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationFollowing a hard-fought victory for the Bundeswehr in securing a large beachhead in the territory of Virolahtie, the Southern airspace is clear and there is an opening on a peninsula to the East for another landing. With the British Royal Marines having just arrived in the region, they will make the landing onto the peninsula of Siikasaari under the cover of night. To the North-Eastern banks of the peninsula there is a short canal linking the coastal inlet with further in-land waterways. It is an important fortified passage useful for the development of any logistics chain in Virolahtie, and dismantling it will assist future endeavours.
Mission
TaskingUNITAF teams embedded within the Royal Marines will covertly insert onto the peninsula of Siikasaari to establish a beachhead before land vehicles may be brought up and landed. Once mobile, Russian patrol camps on the peninsula will need dismantling, ideally also under the cover of stealth. The main target of the operation will be the fortified canal passage to the North-East of the peninsula. Securing the passage from the coastal inlet further inland will allow our own logistic chain to develop as we capture more land in the region. The defensive fortifications across the peninsula's main bottleneck will also need tackling to allow land movement to progress. There has also been a Supply Depot noted to the North-West of the Defensive Fortifications, and several coastal defences covering the mouth of the inlet to the East. Primary Tasking -Covertly insert onto the island of Siikasaari and establish a beachhead -Assault and secure the Fortified Passage, preserving infrastructure -Assault and secure the Defensive Fortifications at the peninsula's bottleneck Secondary Tasking -Dismantle the Patrol Camps across the peninsula -Secure the Supply Depot North-West of the peninsula -Dismantle (or capture) the Coastal Defences covering the mouth of the inlet
Execution
Commander's IntentThe plan is to land via rhibs on the coastline with all elements and secure as much of the patrol camps with as m much stealth and speed possible Then to push on and take out the defensive positions north of the peninsula to secure it from enemy counter attacks
Tasks and Sequencing
Fox will deploy via ribs on the beach and secure it. Sealion will move to a position to take out Patrol camp A and after it is secured will move back to the Beachhead where Badger will drop the Vics after the Vics are collection sealion will move in support of Wolff and Bull and provide support fire as well as transport for rapid reposition. Bull Will move and support Sealion to reach the camp , clear it and provide support in the middle for Wolf to clear Camp Bravo. Bull will keep on providing fire support when wolf takes Patrole camp C when Patrole Camp D is taken Bull is responsible to take out any QRF trying to breach the defense line and protect the rear element of the taskforce when assaulting coastal defenses. Woif Will move to Patrol camp Bravo and take it out The n move to C and delta to clear it fast. And then take on the Coastal defenses on the north east of the peninsula. After all Defenses are taken we move as a whole to take the last defensive fortifications keeping us from the main land Fox 6 Will coordinate assault on the secondary objectives when taskforce has been made and goes loud. And keep the taskforce cover via air. hawk is not aloud to take off until Patrol camp B has been taken or CO tells otherwise.
