--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information
During a return flight from the insertion of special forces in ISIS territory, a UH-60 blackhawk helicopter from Kalaei Noowi Airbase is downed by insurgent forces using small arms fire. Nearby surveillance assets were mobilised to locate the crash site, and it is believed that all 3 crew survived the crash with minor injuries - the aircraft did not explode. UNITAFs primary QRF is based at Kalaei Noowi Airbase and is tasked with the immediate search and rescue operation. The area is densely populated with both civilian and ISIS presence and it's a race against time to save the crew and safeguard the assets.

Friendly Forces
Quick Reaction Force, comprised of - 3x UH-60 Blackhawks - 1x AH-6 Attack Littlebird with long range optics - 1x Platoon Light Infantry, in two Squads with command element

Supporting Assets
Additional syrian forces and coalition forces are on-route, but due to the reactionary nature of the operation, the airborne QRF will arrive first.

Enemy Forces
The area is a mix of civilian and ISIS positions, the civilian population is under control of ISIS police and there are some known military locations within 2km of the crash site. Due to the time of day, not all enemy forces will be in a ready state. But static weapons, sniper positions, mortar and technicals along with fighters are prevalent in this area. Intelligence suggests a ready force strength of 60 fighters, and up to 4 technicals could be mobilised in the immediate crash site area. The enemy is expected to rapidly rush toward the crash site in order to find possible survivors which could be used as ransom or executed for propaganda. There are larger forces in the wider area, which could possibly mobilise within 1-2 hours.

Mission

Tasking
Search for and rescue 3x American survivors of the UH-60 crash site, destroy or recover cargo from the crash site. Return to base.

End-state
After locating and securing the survivors (dead or alive) all forces should return to KNA for debrief.
