Situation

Background Information
After linking up with German forces and replenishing supplies in-position, the British forces at Ravijoki commit to continue the allied forward momentum towards a large enemy supply yard and forward operating base in the town of Harju. Enemy main battle tanks and entrenched infantry are expected, and friendly aircraft are not able to support due to long-range AA. British Commanders commit a full Infantry Platoon, Weapons Squad, Medical and Engineering attachments with Challenger 2s supporting to keep up the pressure.

Additional friendly units located south at the FOB, and German forces to the west.

Enemy Forces
Entrenched infantry with mechanized and armoured support. Potentially enemy rotary aircraft expected. Enemy expected to maintain solid defensive positions however may sally forth if friendly forces take serious casualties/ let up the momentum.

Mission

Tasking
British Royal Marines and Royal Armoured Corps troops and vehicles will carry out a final concerted assault on the town of Harju and the supporting defences in the area. The main focus will be on Harju's immediate area, as well as an ammunition depot + barracks located to the south-east. To conserve time and prevent friendly forces from being drawn too far to the East, the force will attempt to remain in the designated AO; multiple defensive lines to the East have been spotted and without taking Harju, we run the risk of overextending into them. Primary Tasking -Neutralize the garrison forces and secure the town of Harju -Secure MSR Tiellä within the designated AO to extend our supply chain's reach -Secure the Supply Yard intact to be used by friendly forces Secondary Tasking -Neutralize enemy defences still remaining to the South-East of Harju, remaining within the designated AO -Secure the Ammunition Depot/ Barracks supplying the defensive line to the South-East -Secure EPOWs and any extra intelligence left around the FOB or Supply Yard in Harju.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to capture the town of Harku by forcing Russian defenders out of entrenched positions, capturing a number of surrounding objectives.

Tasks and Sequencing
Phase 0 - Ammo Depot Warlock Platoon will transit in vehicles via WP A to assault positions 1A, 2A and 3A to assault Ammo Depot in Phase 0. The ammo depot supplies defensive lines to the north east and must be destroyed to enable a forward assault. Contact is expected to the north east during the assault. Watchman and Hammer will support the 3 main squads of the platoon during this phase. Phase 1 - Fortified Checkpoints 2 of the Warlock Squads will be ordered directly from Phase 0 to the Eastern Fortified Checkpoint, the remaining Squad and Weapons Squad will break contact with Hammer and other vehicle callsigns back and toward the Western Fortified Checkpoint. Once established at the point, the Platoon formation will allow the 3 main squads to split left, center and right of this section of the AO, the Weapons Squad, Command and Support Units will follow in rear of center, the MBTs to the Flanks. Phase 2 - Checkpoints and Supply Yard Platoon and attachments continue to push north to the secondary objectives, Hammer callsigns and Watchman to man the Eastern Flank. Phase 3 - CQC and FOBs All callsigns enter CQC Phase, movement orders for assaulting the FOB will follow.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
Cross fully loaded, Watchman will have own vehicles for ammo, and all callsigns should LOGPAK in motion during support activities rather than expect full LOGPAK stages during execution. Communicate any issues immediately to the COC.

Medical
The primary means of medical support is 2 (extendable to 3) ground based ambulance units, each containing 2 Combat Medics.
