Background Information
British and Canadian forces devise a joint assault on the outer edges of the region's largest urban area, Virojoki, in order to lay the basis of the upcoming fight for the last main Russian military strongholds in the region. Heavy enemy resistance is expected to be brought up in support of defence lines Joker and King. We expect to be able to handle enemy forces spread across two fronts with the armoured support we are bringing in, but prepare for a tough fight.

Enemy Forces
Armoured & mechanised forces along with air support from the airfield north east of Virojoki.


The mission today is to establish the basis of the upcoming siege of Virojoki and any military strongholds nearby. Defence lines Joker and King will be our first main obstacles against entrance to the city. Active AOs for the day will be Monument and Cathedral, with British forces taking AO Cathedral. Primary Tasking a) Secure the fortified checkpoint South of Virojoki b) Secure defensive line joker c) Secure defensive line King

Defensive lines Joker & King secure and any counter attacks destroyed/pushed back.


Commander's Intent
The intent today is to secure several defensive positions to allow us to set up and prepare for a major assault of Virojoki & the surrounding military targets.

Tasks and Sequencing
Starting at a forward point. Phase 1 a) Archer & Hammer will move Via route Rum to the dismount point. b) Archer 1 will dismount and move on they're designated route towards 1 BOF A. c) Archer 2 will dismount and move on they're designated route towards the fortified checkpoint. d) Hammer will be slightly behind the infantry on the road, moving with Archers 1 & 2 supporting them where needed. Phase 2 a) Once the checkpoint is secure, Archer 2 will move to Archer 2 BOF. b) Archer 1 will then move to Archer 1 BOF B. c) Hammer will move to cover the road & start engaging the defensive line along with artillery. Squad movement will be based on what is seen at the defensive line. Phase 3 a) Archer will conduct a full frontal assault on defensive line joker, securing emplacements & bunkers, with support from hammer & artillery. b) Once Joker is secure, Archer will set up defensive positions & pavement will move in to logpack & provide medical support. Phase 4 a) When Joker is secure & all callsigns are resupplied. Archer will move north towards Defensive line King. b) Archer 1 & 2 will work together moving east along the line, clearing defensive positions. c) hammer will keep roads secure & ensure Archer does not get flanked by armour.
