--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationFollowing disappointing initial operational casualties a Platoon of Mechanised Infantry together with a Weapons Platoon is dispatched to counter Taliban to our North and to eliminate the identified Taliban Military Garrison. Follow which our orders are to move into and seize the town of Abbadaez. CIVPOP HUMINT reports the location of an AA position near Sumina, which our recon since confirmed, and will need dealing with en-route.
Friendly Forces
Motorised Infantry Platoon with a supporting airborne heavy weapons platoon. Airborne logistics and medical supporting.
Supporting Assets
Northern Alliance forces are confirmed to be operating north west of Abbadaez.
Enemy Forces
Taliban forces are currently holding a Garrison (OBJ A) north of the riverbed. We expect the enemy forces to initially hold the garrison, but when pressured, fall back to Abbadaez, reinforcing from other settlements in Khassadar and Hama. Caution should be exercised when operating vehicles off road due to unexploded ordnance, engineers are being deployed to provide support to cavalry.

Mission
TaskingPrimary Objectives OBJ A - Assault and Capture Taliban Garrison OBJ B - Assault east, gain ground towards Abbadaez OBJ C - Make contact with the Northern Alliance
End-state
Following the completion of all objectives a forward position may be established, in all other instances we will return to base.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to gain a foothold in Northern Tottah Province, initially by capturing a Taliban Garrison (OBJ A) and then by attempting to rout the enemy force east into Abbadaez (OBJ B), establishing a position there by joining the Northern Alliance (OBC C) in their attempt to liberate the settlement from Taliban control. We are expecting the presence of civilians and Northern Alliance fighters, so proper target identification is essential. Following successful execution we will establish a combat outpost, or return to base.
Tasks and Sequencing
SECTOR A Infil and transit plan Convoy will depart base in SECTOR A to the infantry dismount in SECTOR B, in the following composition; - VIKING 3 and VIKING 3-1, .50cal HMMWVs - OUTLAW 1 and OUTLAW 2 in two trucks operated by GROUNDHOG 4 - OUTLAW 9 in command HMMWV - VIKING 3-2 and VIKING 3-3 on rear PHANTOM 9 to be airlifted by GUARDIAN 4-1 in SECTOR A to LZ Bobcat in SECTOR B.

Administration/Logistics
ResupplyAll teams should cross SECTOR B fully loaded, infantry elements should be prepared for at least 2 clicks of movement on foot. VIKING callsigns are permitted to carry limited ammo and supplies, LOGPAKs will be provided by GUARDIAN airborne call signs at suitable LZs and brought forward by vehicles as required. Due to the heavy weapons employed by Phantom, Guardian will provide movement assistance as and where required. Vehicle maintenance will be provided to VIKING via GUARDIAN through the Platoon Sergeant.
Medical
The primary means of MEDEVAC is via GUARDIAN 4-2s airborne medical emergency response team, secondary medical support if required, will be provided by the insertion of ground based ambulances by GUARDIAN 4-1 to support the ground effort of 4-2 in difficult terrain, or when under heavy fire.
Rules of Engagement
EPWs should be turned over to the Platoon Sergeant at the earliest opportunity. Due to the presence of civilians and Northern Alliance fighters in SECTOR B, the company operates under a strict WEAPONS ORANGE state. Below: Northern Alliance Fighters (Friendly Force) who look almost identical to Taliban Forces.
