CAS Request: End of Mission
After observation of impacts, you survey the effect in a Battle Damage Assessment, BDA, to transmit to the aircraft.
When satisfied, the FAC summarises the achieved effect and ends the mission. This clears the radio net and concludes the attack. Here the FAC should provide the aircraft with as detailed information as possible. This should contain an end of mission statement and the observed effects
Item | MEANING |
---|---|
End of mission statement | This indicates that no further attacks are needed on this target |
Observation | The number and type of targets as well as non targets that were hit and their status. The status could be destroyed, neutralized (not destroyed but uneffective), fleeing, scattering, etc. |
End of mission, 2 BTR neutralized and 1 construction building destroyed
