J6 Personnel changes February 2026

Good afternoon all,

 

As some of you know, Jochem has made the decision to retire from UNITAF. Most people will know that Jochem has ben absolutely critical to bringing J6 to where it is now, having taken on the titanic task of developing the unit's policy through FTS 1, 2, and 3.

 

It's difficult to put into words how instrumental Jochem has been and how hard he worked to push through a lot of the challenges the unit had, to get us to where we are at present, but I hope you'll join us in wishing him well and thanking him for this immense effort.

 

Due to this, based on his excellent work in J6 already, Ross has been appointed as NCOIC J6, and the J6 NCO position is therefore now available for application. 

 

For those who may be unaware, J6 are responsible for working with people who are trying to develop policy, by helping them plan, structure, and write it. This keeps the FM consistent across all areas, since all policy is refined by J6, but in keeping with the intent of the contributor.

Thank you again to Jochem for his time and effort over the past few years. TC won't really be the same without him.
