Do you want to contribute to the development of UNITAF? Are there aspects of UNITAF you want to improve, and can see yourself contributing directly towards? You’re in luck, we have now a few openings that will allow you to get directly involved in many core aspects of UNITAF’s future!
 

 

OPERATIONS COMMAND
Operations Command, Officer in Charge (OC OIC)
 
UNITAF is looking for our next Officer in Charge for Operations Command.
Do you want to assume a leadership position in the unit where you’re able to shape how UNITAF plans and develops our combat deployments, this is the opening for you!
 
What they do to help:
  • Oversees and pushes the efforts of the J3 Operations, J5 Loadouts, J8 Mods and J9 Servers teams.
  • Manages projects and initiatives within these staff groups, as well as reaching decisions alongside Central Command and the other officers concerning broader issues in the unit.
  • Leads the staff groups and is therefore expected to be able to be able to build relations with the staff and be able to work towards key goals.

What you need:

  • Minimum rank requirement of PFC required.
  • Related experience is recommended but not demanded.
  • In this context, related experience is considered to be the following:
    • Previous experience as staff member or NCOIC in one of the subordinate staff groups, activity as GM or FL on deployments in UNITAF.
    • Understanding of project management is encouraged.
  • Availability for monthly Unit Command Meetings and keeping in touch with Staff groups in cross-command channels.

J9 Servers
Staff Member (J9 NCO)

Are you knowledgeable, or do you have an interest in the digital infrastructure on which UNITAF operations run?
The UNITAF servers are the backbone of all activity in UNITAF, and J9 is now looking to expand their team by one additional member.
 
What they do to help:
  • Test PBOs and servers liasing with mission support teams prior to deployments
  • Configure updates and mods
  • Launch game servers and shut them down prior to and after deployments
  • General server administration
What you need:
  • Minimum rank requirement of Pvt required
  • Previous experience with Arma 3 servers is recommended but training can be provided
  • Availability before deployments where you are signed up as the designated Admin, to launch the servers ahead.
