Operation Lebra (2018), Red Trident

Situation

Background Information
As part of a 3 pronged offensive to capture the city of Novaya Petrovka, a Ranger squad moves in to eliminate a communications radar site, and neutralize Ex-Military Instructors who are training up local militias.

Mission

Tasking
Primary Objective is to capture Tisy Military base from the Nationalist militias to secure the northern flank for the capture of Novaya Petrovka as part of Operation Trident Additional tasking includes: Destroying a Militia radar station Destroying AA and Artillery positions North of the base Capturing Militia instructors if possible

End-state
Mission Success is considered after the capture of Tisy Military base and destruction of the Radar, AA and Artillery positions Critical Mission success is considered with the capture of the Militia instructors

Execution

Commander's Intent
The order of targets is as followed: - Eliminate Radar Station - Neutralize AA and Artillery Assets - Find and eliminate Training Instructors in the FOB

Tasks and Sequencing
The squad will be taken to Primary LZ Polar or alternate LZ Black by helicopter, from there we will move on foot under stealth through the waypoints to set up at the Radar Station where we will try to silently eliminate the guards and plant charges ready for detonation. We will then move on towards the Artillery and AA behind enemy lines, where we will try to eliminate the guards and repeat the same process. Once this has been completed we will move on the main FOB where once in position to breach we will detonate charges causing disarray among their ranks. We will then push through the base eliminating the militia and Training Instructors present before pushing to a extraction before a QRF can arrive. Depending on the situation we will attempt to extract at LZ Panda, Yogi or Grizzly. See operation map for references on waypoints, landing zones and the area of operations.
