Situation

Background Information
Because of recent blows dealt to the Chedaki and their allies, the word of an officer who wishes to defect has reached the HQ. As he is unable to leave on his own and not raise any suspicion, a squad of US Rangers is dispatched to stage a kidnaping. They are tasked, to extract the officer alive and to find and secure any intel he has and deliver it back to the HQ.

Friendly Forces
1x SF Team supported with 1x Chinook Helicopter

Supporting Assets
Expect a civilian population in and around towns and Villages. Expected to be helping the Chedaki.

Enemy Forces
Chedaki infantry. Scattered patrols in and out of the Military base, Manned checkpoints and in Villages.

Mission

Tasking
Main objective: Capture the Chedaki officer who wishes to defect and to secure any intelligence he can provide us with, we do not know his name but he will look similar to the image below, he should be the only Major in the compound and will be identifiable with the green star on his beret. secondary objectives:: - sabotage T-55s' in storage - Neutralize MANPADS N/W of the Kamensk military base

End-state
Mission complete on securing the HVT and any intel including documents he can provide to HQ

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of the mission is to identify and extract the HVT with as much intel as possible. Expected hostile civilian population so stealth will be key to be able to complete our objectives.

Tasks and Sequencing
Delta team will insert via HALO on DZ A On regrouping DELTA will move through the forest towards WP 1, avoiding the towns on the way. On arriving at WP DELTA will do short recon from the Base's perimeter fence. - on spotting the target assault plan will be made in the field - if the targets is not spotted from the fence, DELTA will enter and search the Base from east to west, stealth being the priority. On HVT capture DELTA will extract to LZ A, secondary LZs are B and C
