--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationAfter securing a beachhead on the western shores it is time to secure the deltas of the area. UNITAF troops are tasked with the very first boat patrol to look out for enemy strongholds and encampments and engage towards them in an effort to improve security further inland. Time permitting, we may also recon the river intersection further along our route and see if it is eligible for a reinforced forward operation base.
Friendly Forces
United States Army Combined Arms Team [1x] Rifle Platoon [3x] PTF Nasty Boat (40mm) [1x] Attack Helicopter
Supporting Assets
None expected.
Enemy Forces
Unknown PAVN and Vietcong activities.
Mission
TaskingDrive up the southern Delta up until the intersection around Bi Mat and check for enemy activities.
End-state
We have acquired intel about enemy activities and ideally have cleared the delta area of them.
Execution
Commander's IntentSimply, the intent of this operation is to conduct a combat patrol along Route Bacon to improve safety of the route, and to assess the viability of a FOB near Point Trident.

Tasks and Sequencing
Method of travel & Actions-On Convoy along Route Bacon will consist of three Nasty patrol boats with air cover. Bakers 1 and 2 will travel in the first and last boats respectively, with Plt element in the center craft. Upon receiving contact, Push Through will not always be viable. In these cases, heavy suppressive fire will be levelled against ambushing enemy forces whilst manoeuvres begin to get infantry dismounted to assault into enemy positions and clear them ou If any enemy AA emplacements are found they will need to be dismantled to allow friendly aircraft safe passage along the route. Should our air cover be shot down or forced to land, infantry will attempt to conduct CSAR to recover the crew.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplySupplies for the operation will be based on the boats. At the start of op, infantry can place one of each item they need supplying in the boats and HQ will increase the stock of the items.
