Situation

Background Information
During an attempted night insertion, a US Army MH-47 carrying a squad of Rangers has been downed deep behind enemy lines. No contact has been made possible with the helicopter or the Rangers and they must find their own way back to friendly forces whilst completing their initial objectives if possible. A USAF AC-130U has been given emergency tasking to locate and support the Rangers once any major AA threat has been neutralized in the region.

Enemy Forces
The exact composition of the enemy is unknown, but it is safe to assume that due to the Rangers position they will not encounter as many frontline forces such as tanks and IFVs.

Execution

Commander's Intent
THE PURPOSE OF THIS MISSION IS TO EVACUATE THE ELEMENT FROM BEHIND ENEMY LINES. MAPS AND LR RADIOS ARE UNAVAILABLE DUE TO THE DEPLOYMENT OF A JAMMER.

Tasks and Sequencing
FIRST, NOMAD WILL HAVE TO LOCATE AND ELIMINATE THE AA THREAT, TO ALLOW REAPER CALLSIGN TO PROVIDE SUPPORT. AFTERWARDS NOMAD WILL LOCATE AND DESTROY THE JAMMER, ALLOWING ACCESS TO LR RADIOS. ONCE THE AA AND THE JAMMER IS DEALT WITH, NOMAD WILL CONTACT REAPER CALLSIGN AND COORDINATE THE WITHDRAWAL. ALONG THE WAY, THE SQUAD WILL ATTEMPT TO ACCOMPLISH ITS ORIGINAL OBJECTIVES AS WELL.
