--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationMilitary Intelligence has received information from credible local informants, that the Chedaki are transporting supplies from secure-storage to the front lines. MI has since confirmed that two convoys are set to arrive in Elektro in the early morning hours. They will be carrying vital supplies, such as fuel and ammunition. MI informs us that at least 4x convoys have already re-supplied the city. However, we can prevent further resupply by successfully ambushing remaining convoys in-transit. Elektro is critical to the Chedaki force's ability to maintain their current front-line.
Friendly Forces
RANGER 1 is a squad-sized element, inserting with the help of assault boats manned by ROOKIE H. RANGER 1 has a Designated Marksman and Reconnaissance SUAV operator to aid with positioning, Chedaki force movements, and convoy location. RANGER 1-1 is a 6-man FT with Combat Medic, LAT and MMG capability. RANGER 1-2 is a 6-man FT with Combat Medic, LAT and Automatic Rifleman capability.
Supporting Assets
There are no friendlyforces in the AO.
Enemy Forces
Chedaki concentration in the area is scarce after recent missions in the AO. If Rangers maintain stealth, they will not encounter major opposition from the enemy force. The enemy will not expect an attack so deep behind front lines, meaning their security compositions comprise mostly trucks and Light-APC's. MI states that one of the trucks will be carrying captured U.S. supplies from a recently downed C-130 in the area, despite successful demolition of the majority. Another truck will be carrying long range rockets that are capable of hitting both BLUFOR airbases. Destruction of said missiles is mission critical.
Mission
Tasking- Ambush Chedaki Convoy - Destroy critical supplies intended for Elektro - Destroy long-range rockets. - Recover U.S. Supplies and EXFIL to local HUMINT Safehouse in Msta.
End-state
- Stealth optional, but highly recommended. ROOKIE H will be pleased with a low-contact operation. - If successful, Rangers will hinder the enemy's defensive resupply of the city of Elektro, which will aide a future, planned assault. - In the event of complete mission failure or overwhelming force, EXFIL to the safehouse is still desired with Ranger's lives maintained.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to cripple Chedaki forces' ability to sustain defences in Elektro. Rangers are to do this by effectively stopping and destroying their supplies en-route by coastal-road convoy. Ambush and evade is the name of the game. RANGER 1 has a Designated Marksman and Reconnaissance SUAV operator to aid with positioning, Chedaki force movements, and convoy location. Must be utilised effectively by ALL CALLSIGNS.
Tasks and Sequencing
RANGER will load up at RP-TANGO, to be ferried by ROOKIE H, loaded with 3x Assault Boats. ROOKIE H will inform RANGER 1 when crossing WP1, WP2 and WP3. At DZ-1, ALL CALLSIGNS will board their vessels, andROOKIE H will offload them on signal. From there, RANGER 1-1 will lead, directly to RV SHREK, followed by RANGER 1, then RANGER 1-2. RANGER 1-1 will setup 270° security facing NNW. RANGER 1-2 will traverse to AP SPOOK. Once set, remaining callsigns will push to AP SPOOK to setup ambush on the approaching convoy. KEY: Stealth is optional, but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, as the AO is wedged between heavily fortified Elektro, and unknown force at Installation to the NE. Once ambush has been conducted and the vehicle containing U.S. Supplies has been identified, resupply to take place in cover around AP SPOOK. ALL CALLSIGNS to Rally on RANGER 1's command, and proceed to EXFIL in the recovered vehicle towards SAFEHOUSE in Msta. Considerations: - Route of the convoy is assumed, based on local HUMINT. - Civilian presence will be minor but still a potential challenge. Kamyshovo is to be treated with extreme care. - EXFIL will not be easy, with potential contact from the moment RANGER sets foot on open road. SEE MAP (PLANOPS) FOR KEY DETAILS.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyALL CALLSIGNS will depart from RP-TANGO fully loaded according to the units SOP. This initial load is expected to sustain the team until, if/when, they capture stolen U.S. supplies from the convoy. Conserving ammunition and regular ACE reporting will be key.
Medical
- Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field)
