--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationOperational command has received a phone call from a Russian conscript willing to trade information about one of the local enemy commanders movement in exchange for extraction and safe passage far from the front lines. JW4101 is tasked with Special Reconnaissance north of Jantar lake to meet with the informant, gather intelligence on the HVT, prepare and perform a Direct Action to neutralize the Person of Interest.
Friendly Forces
JW4101 - Military Commando Unit Squad, callsign NIGHTHAWK 1, consisting of two teams:
- NIGHTHAWK 1-1 with Anti Armor capabilities.
- NIGHTHAWK 1-2 with heavy gunner capabilities
Supporting Assets
The closest friendly force JW3797 - 15th Mechanized Brigade present at the STARTEX location south of the Biela River. They will not, however, take part in this operation.
Enemy Forces
Area is fully controlled by the Russian Forces, most active around the AO are Mechanized Brigades and possible logistical routes. We have no information about the security around the HVT, so such intel should be gathered from the contact.
Mission
TaskingNIGHTHAWK 1 is tasked with contacting the Russian Soldier (callsign BRIMSTONE) to obtain information about HVT movement, point the soldier into direction of safe crossing into our territory, intercept and eliminate the HVT and then EXFIL back to friendly territory.
End-state
Mission will be considered successful if the HVT has been eliminated, and the NIGHTHAWK 1 squad returns to the friendly territory.
Execution
Commander's IntentGet in, meet informant, eliminate HVT. Primary Objectives: - Eliminate HVT - Return to friendly territory alive
Tasks and Sequencing
Initial plan of movement is to proceed north from startex, ford the river and proceed to OP1 while maintaining stealth. Once at OP1 NIGHTHAWK will survey the area around the assigned meet for suspicious activity/OPFOR patrols prior to making contact with the informant. WEAPONS RED until called otherwise - the informant will be ID'd by the FL via a pre-established sign Further taskings will be decided in field following information provided by the informant. NIGHTHAWK should kit up for an ambush followed by fighting retreat. If we are made before eliminating the HVT we will evaluate if we need to fall back
