Situation

Background Information
After the great defense from the 15th Mechanized Brigade. who defended the supply depot and the town of Gieraltow from the enemy long enough to save critical supplies. During this Defense Bravo platoon was unable to to fully retreat and the Platoon leader got captured by the enemy. Our latest information is that platoon leader is being held still in Gieraltow. Due too operational security the platoon leader needs to be rescued. Mission design note: This mission is designed to be COVERT and contact is expected to be low. Please keep in mind when slotting

- Extract Captured Platoon Leader - Exfil alive - (Optional) Cause maximum damage to OPFOR infrastructure

Tasks and Sequencing
ALL CALLSIGNS shall outfit for a nighttime hit and run exfil raid. Sappers shall bring charges suitable for distraction/demolition of assets. ALL CALLSIGNS shall mount provided offroads and follow black line, followed by blue line unless intel suggests otherwise. Be careful with offroads, our mechanics tell us they have an interesting gas pedal sometimes so ensure control when on small wooded roads. ALL CALLSIGNS shall disembark at OP Alpha or OP Bravo depending on any intel and sightings. We will then proceed south to scout the town via WP1 and WP2. We don't have intel on where the prisoner is being held so look for any hubs of activity which may be of interest. The town is divided into zones 1-3 for ease of reference. If needed we may redeploy to OP Charlie or another location should the approach prove unfeasible. Ideal order of operations once close to the town is: - Locate prisoner location - Locate suitable distraction location - Plant charges at suitable distraction location - Prepare to breach to free captive - Explode charges, enter building, free PoW - Exfil via vics It is imperative that stealth is maintained until we are ready to break it! Note that some OPFOR do have NVGs
