Execution
Commander's IntentBefore conducting an operation on the eastern coast of Chernarus, the 75th Ranger Regiment received a mission to conduct a dawn-time raid in the southern area of operations (AO). Their objective is to clear out the towns of Solnitchniy and Usine, gathering any intelligence they can find and neutralizing any enemy assets and equipment within the AO.
Tasks and Sequencing
Bravo 1 will be airborne via C-130J to perform HALO in the southwestern part of the AO. After a successful landing, Bravo 1 will rendezvous at RV 0 and immediately follow the green route toward the north. Phase One: Bravo 1 will hold at OP 1 to gather information about the enemy’s border installation and coordinate with AC-130. Reaper 5 will take care of the Border Outpost. Bravo 1-1 will hold position at OP 2-1 to provide overwatch. Bravo 1-2 will approach the outpost to ensure enemy casualties. Bravo 1 will rendezvous at RV 3 prior to proceeding toward phase 2.
Phase Two:
Bravo 1 will move through waypoint 4 to waypoint 7, heading eastward toward the main objectives.
There will be no primary objectives in Phase Two unless any possible threat is identified, so any approach toward towns situated in Phase 2 will be unnecessary.
Reaper 5 will hover above to provide firing support for Bravo 1.
Phase Three:
Bravo 1 will start to assault the town, west of Solnitchniy, from AP 8 before entering objective Oscar.
Bravo 1-1 and 1-2 will split to make sure no reinforcement catches them by surprise. 1-1 will hold at the cliff at OP 9-1 while 1-2 will send information regarding the Comms Tower to Reaper 5. After dealing with the Comms Tower, both teams assault the southern part of the town via AP 10.
After taking out Objective Oscar, Bravo 1 will move northwest and gather at WP 11 prior to the final assault.
Bravo 1 will assault the town of Usine from the south by clearing the first compound(C6) and continuing northward.
Reaper 5 will once again hover above to provide covering fire and deal with any possible enemy QRF.
After successfully taking out all objectives, Bravo 1 will rendezvous at RV 13 to bug out from the AO and RTB.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyNo resupply will be available during the mission... each fireteam should bring enough supplies for a two to three-hour mission while maintaining their momentum capability. Adequate preparation and self-sufficiency are essential for mission success.
Medical
No Medevac will be available during the mission Casualties should be treated on the field by Squad medic/Combat life saver. Remember to follow established protocols and prioritize casualty care during the mission
Rules of Engagement
As civilians are present within the Area of Operations (AO), strict Rules of Engagement (ROE) dictate that targets must be positively identified (PID) before opening fire. The same principle applies to fire mission requests and air support.
Fire Support Plan
In accordance with SOP
Close Air Support
Fire support provided by AC-130 gunship is authorized through the Forward Air Controller from Bravo 1
