Situation

Background Information
Listin up Marines! 1/5 Echo Company has been tasked with SEIZING the Airfield to secure a foothold in local region of Isla Abramia. This island will serve as the MUE HQ for all further on taskings so we need the building and airfield in an operational readiness state. It is currently under control of a local Warlord who has not taken kindly to our diplomatic friends. It is our turn to show them what the Marines can do. The battalion S-2 expects the EN to be armed with russian small arms, Light Skin vichs, and potentially a Platoon(+) on the island. This mission is imperative to show the local government and foreign influences that the 31st MUE is here to be the big stick when our diplomats fail. BPT to receive an intel brief for SA on the origins of the this new campaign we have been tasked with completing.

Enemy Forces
The battalion S-2 estimates there to be a platoon(+) sized for armed with small arms, RPGs, and possible MMGs. They expect the En COA to defend and attempt to withdraw once they have lost over a two squads.

Seize Plt Obj 1 and Plt Obj 2 IOT allow for FN forces FOM in the AO.

End-state
All EN on BN Obj A are destroyed and FN forces are able to use the island a foothold in the region.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to seize the air field to obtain a foothold towards mainland operations. We will utilize the element of surprise alongside enhanced firepower to claim the AO from an established warlord. HQ has provided drone images of the air field and the nearby communications relay: AO Overview Air Field Overview Communications Relay

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0: Preparation - ALL CALLSIGNS ensure adequate supplies on person to sustain operations without external logistic support. -- Special considerations are detailed in Administration/Logistics OPORD section. -ALL CALLSIGNS mount RHIBs for naval insertion. PHASE 1: Insertion -ALL CALLSIGNS mount RHIBs for naval insertion. and depart for DM-Primary. -- DM-Secondary & DM-Contingency are available for alternate insertion. PHASE 2: Establish BOF - BAKER 1-1 & BAKER 1-2 establish security on BOF-A. -- BAKER 1-3 digs in and emplaces Machinegunner 7 Marksman. - SUAV Operator surveys local area. Scheme of Maneuver adjusted according to intelligence. Weapons Orange: maintaining element of surprise is critical. PHASE 3: Capture HQ - BAKER 1-3 establishes fire superiority on objective -- BAKER 1-1 & BAKER 1-2 flank via RP-B. - Once established in objective, BAKER 1-3 repositions to BOF-B for eastern security. - SUAV Operator monitors for QRF. PHASE 4: Radio Tower - ALL CALLSIGNS proceed to AO via RP-C. -- BAKER 1-3 establishes fire superiority at BOF-C. -- BAKER 1-1 & BAKER 1-2 utilize defilade to flank obj. Upon island capture, ALL CALLSIGNS regroup for ENDEX.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
Resupply will be unavailable for the duration of this operation. All supplies required to sustain operations for the duration of this mission must be carried on person. BAKER 1 will carry additional medical supplies as coordinated through Squad Medic. BAKER 1-1's ammo bearer will be dedicated primarily to MAT rockets, and secondarily to M249 ammunition. BAKER 1-3's ammo bearer will be dedicated solely to M240B ammunition. Team Leaders will be provided backpacks to carry STANAG for their respective teams. Note: Additional carrying capacity will be made available as requested by Team Leaders.

- Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field)
