Situation
Background InformationAfter reconnaissance efforts identified an entrenched defense of St Gilles and the resources to counter attack a scouting force. Command has tasked us with pushing north to Hébécrevon. Giving us a second avenue of approach to St Gilles. Pushing to the north, also expanding our foothold on the other side of the river.

Execution
Commander's IntentPurpose: To capture Hébécrévon and disrupt enemy defensive capabilities in order to facilitate the main assault on St Gilles. Key Tasks: * Neutralize enemy forces within Hébécrévon. * Secure OPFOR defensive positions in between St Lô and Hébécrévon. End State: Hébécrévon is under our control with enemy forces neutralized or retreated, setting conditions favorable for the assault on St Gilles.

The mission will be completed in three phases:1) Preparations (PHASE IRIS)
Objective: Cross the Line of Departure and reach Phase Line IRIS Time: Depart at latest at STARTEX+20 Route: Direct Formation: Squad column Actions: * Maintain strict noise and light discipline * Maintain good observation of surrounding area for any enemy activity * Thunder provides security along key danger areas, including the MSR towards St Gilles2) PHASE ELEKTRA
Objective: Secure objective Mercury Actions: * Move to CHECKPOINT EUROPA * Observe enemy positions and patrols in and around OBJECTIVE MERCURY * Assault OBJECTIVE MERCURY by use of overwhelming force * Upon successful seizure, provide ACE Report to field leader3) PHASE HEBE
Objective: Secure objective Venus and Tellus Actions: * Advance to CHECKPOINT CALLISTO * Observe enemy positions and patrols in and around OBJECTIVE MERCURY * Assault OBJECTIVE MERCURY by use of overwhelming force * Upon successful seizure of Venus, conduct reconnaissance of surrounding areas * Use knowledge of terrain and METT-TC to reach and seize Objective TellusDivision of Tasks
Lightning: * Conduct close quarter combat to clear enemies from defensive positions and compounds * Conduct reconnaissance of enemy positions * Support Thunder by prioritising anti-tank troops Thunder: * Support Lightning at distance by prioritising enemy force multipliers, such as static positions and enemy vehicles * Suppress enemy positions to allow for Lightning to move to and assault enemy positions unhindered * Maintain situational awareness of flanks * Respond to any urgent requests by LightningAdministration/Logistics
ResupplyAll elements takes with them a full combat load and - where possible - smoke grenades. Extra equipment will be stored in Thunder's vehicles. Due to the nature of this operation, HQ will provide further logistical support Only if absolutely necessary.
Medical
PAK in field is on. If necessary, squad medic becomes the medical leader in an MCI. Planned CCP is always the last cleared checkpoint. Nearest aid station is located in St Lô.

Amber until Lightning has crossed Phase Line Elektra. After Phase Line Elektra, RoE is green.
