Situation
Background InformationThe German Army is joining in Operation Albion with the recent surge of activity in their sector. Paratroopers from the 31st Airborne Brigade are going to conduct a door-to-door search for illegal weapons as well as detain and document suspected Taliban members, collaborators and other suspicious locals.

Mission
TaskingConduct a door-to-door search for illegal weapons as well as detain and document suspected Taliban members, collaborators and other suspicious locals.

Illegal weapons sized and destroyed, potential Taliban collaborators arrested or noted.
Execution
Commander's IntentRook squad will move to through and clear the town Nazar Bay and the surrounding area to search for weapons caches, IED's and Taliban Members.
Tasks and Sequencing
Rook Squad will follow route Kraut to the outskirts of Nazar Bay where they will split off with ROOK 1-1 will clear sector 1A while ROOK 1-2 clears sector 1B. After sector 1 is cleared, ROOK 1-1 will clear through sectors 2A and 3A while ROOK 1-2 will clear through sectors 2B and 3B. The Firesteams will stay parallel to each other to ensure no Taliban members are missed or slip through. ROOK 1-1 will then move to clear sector 4A while ROOK 1-2 clears compounds 7 and 6 (in that order). Finally, Rook Squad will move into sector 5 with ROOK 1-1 clearing sector 5A and ROOK 1-2 clearing sector 5B. Should any intelligence be gathered and time permitting Rook squad will move to clear the additional area marked in Green. Fireteams should carry a large number of zip ties for apprehending Taliban members who will be collected by logistical staff from Fob Schwarzwacht. EOD specialists with each fireteam are responsible for marking and detonating any weapons caches, should a fireteam be in contact when they discover a cache they will mark the cache and the Squad EOD man will move to detonate it while the fireteam eliminates the threat.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission, without support. Should the squad encounter heavy contact a resupply can be arranged however this will have a long lead time. - Medical support will be conducted using supporting MERT elements (PAK off Field)
