Situation

Background Information
1/5, Great Job Marines. We have secured our MUE HQ and dealt a swift blow to the EN in the AO. S-2 has given us a new target to act upon to exploit the EN while they are regrouping. We have been tasked with DESTROY of the EN communications and Armory on the Island to our south. IOT to cripple the EN ability to effect FN troops once they make land fall on the main island and start their humanitarian aid relief.

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to disable a near southern communications relay enabling armory logistics, and to seize the greater island to enable a further foothold towards mainland operations.

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0: Preparation - ALL CALLSIGNS ensure adequate supplies on person to sustain operations without external logistic support. -- Special considerations are detailed in Administration/Logistics OPORD section. -ALL CALLSIGNS mount RHIBs for naval insertion. PHASE 1: Insertion -ALL CALLSIGNS rally at RP-A and depart for LZ-Primary utilizing the cover of night, just prior to dawn. - LZ-Primary will be utilized if concealment is maintained. -- LZ-Secondary & LZ-Contingency will be utilized if concealment is compromised. Weapons Orange: delaying contact is critical. PHASE 2: Disable Communications - ALL CALLSIGNS move to OP-A and commence area recon to locate communication assets. - Upon communications asset discovery, BAKER 1-3 emplaces Machinegunner & Marksman in a supporting position. -- BAKER 1-1 & BAKER 1-2 assault via covering fire and deactivate OPFOR communications equipment as quickly as possible. Weapons Orange: delaying contact is critical. PHASE 3: Water Crossing - BAKER 1-3 establishes fire superiority on objective via BOF-B, softening priority targets as detailed in PHASE 4. -- BAKER 1-1 & BAKER 1-2 cross and establish security on perimeter wall. - With security established and priority targets eliminated, BAKER 1-3 crosses water. PHASE 4: Armory Clearing - ALL CALLSIGNS breach rear of armory at southern low wall. -- BAKER 1-1 & BAKER 1-2 clear #1 & #2 marked buildings, proceeding in clockwise clearance. -- BAKER 1-3 establishes BOF at the southern guard tower, locking down the compound entrance and supporting clearing efforts. Smoke grenades will be utilized to cover initial movements out of canalizing ground and into sector assignments. PHASE 5: QRF Defense - ALL CALLSIGNS reposition to defend island movements towards armory. -- BAKER 1-1 digs in at entrance, optimizing position of AT assets. -- BAKER 1-2 if available, adopts a supporting position. -- BAKER 1-3 moves to northeastern guard tower and emplaces heavy weapon assets. PHASE 6: Seize Blanco *if required* - ALL CALLSIGNS proceed to RP-E via RP-D. -- BAKER 1-3 establishes fire superiority at BOF-C. -- BAKER 1-1 & BAKER 1-2 utilize defilade to flank obj. - BAKER 1-1 & BAKER 1-2 clear village from north east to south west, coordinated by BAKER 1. Upon island capture, ALL CALLSIGNS regroup for ENDEX.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
Resupply will be unavailable for the duration of this operation. All supplies required to sustain operations for the duration of this mission must be carried on person. BAKER 1 will carry additional MAT ammunition as coordinated through BAKER 1-1. BAKER 1-3's ammo bearer will be dedicated solely to M240B ammunition. Team Leaders will be provided backpacks to carry STANAG for their respective teams. Note: Additional carrying capacity will be made available as requested by Team Leaders.
