Background Information
January 1945 Bois Jacques - outskirts of Bastogne Belgium --- Companies E and I of 506th PIR have been successfully holding the north of the city perimeter since December 19th, enduring heavy losses under intense enemy shelling. Days leading up to the assault on Foy, a squad of paratroopers from the 506th is tasked to perform a routine patrol of their positions before regrouping with the rest of the company overlooking Foy in the anticipation of the assault.
