--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationThe Fapovan Authority have pushed their luck for the last time. Military negotiators have been “tactically stored” within a fortified military compound to the southwest. Enough is enough. It has been decided that the time has come to put down the Russian-backed puppet regime of the Fapovan Authority and get our people back. VIKING 1 is tasked to secure the HVTs and create a diversion for a larger invading force. **CIVRP will be in a set role for the majority of the mission- Contact FL/IO if interested.** EXPECTED LEVEL OF COMBAT: ☆☆☆ EXPECTED LEVEL OF RP: ☆☆ EXPECTED DIFFICULTY: ☆☆ THREE-STAR RATING: ☆ LITTLE TO NONE EXPECTED ☆☆ DECENT AMOUNT EXPECTED ☆☆☆ HEAVY EMPHASIS / MAIN
Friendly Forces
1x US 75th Ranger squad
Supporting Assets
While VIKING 1 engages and holds off the QRF, THUNDER 1 will simultaneously launch an assault on the airfield, exploiting the diversion created by our engagement to capture the airbase and begin the land invasion. Once the assault begins, this will soften the pressure on VIKING 1 Once the airbase is secure and the southern skies secured, air support will be on standby to assist in the exfiltration of VIKING and the clearance of the remaining QRF. -A friendly recon unit OUTLOOK 1 is stationed between our objective and the air base. -UAV in the area for aerial surveillance 1x US destroyer equipped with cruise missiles,AA and Naval artillery. 1x Chinook helicopter for resupply and exfile
Enemy Forces
-Platoon-sized element garisoned within OBJ-Paddle/Boat with mounted turrets faced to the north and west. Possible 2-man patrols. -Coastal defence port to the NE of OBJ- Boat. 2x coastal patrol boats. Fireteam-sized element Garrisoned. - Company-sized QRF from Ivanograd Airbase. Paratroopers, Mi-8 Transport helicopters, 2x Armed BMP-2, 3x MT-LB (PKT), Multiple URAL transport and logistics trucks and 1x T55A MBT. Multiple armed airborne assets, which will be dealt with by THUNDER 1. -Possible Small Reserve element from the training base north of the Objective. Intelligence suggests armoured elements will be slow to respond due to geography and poor readiness.
Mission
TaskingVIKING 1 is tasked with assaulting SBP Military Base / HQ (OBJ-PADDLE/OBJ-BOAT) to secure the HVTs and rescue our detained advisor. Once the compound is secured, VIKING 1 will fortify the position in anticipation of a company-sized QRF deploying from the airfield to the east. Hold off as long as possible until EXFILE Via helicopter or boat as secondary Collect any intel along the way which could assist with the larger invasions.
End-state
1. Successful rescue and EXFIL of HVT. 2. Defeat of QRF and EXFIL of VIKING 1 Secondary objective- Destroy the Vehicle manufacturing facility North of OBJ-Paddle
Execution
Commander's IntentIntent is to rescue the HVT, as well as distract the enemy forces while THUNDER starts their assault on the airfield.
Tasks and Sequencing

VIKING Squad Will bound over to OBJ-PADDLE VIKING 1-1 will clear sector F-1 VIKING 1-2 will clear sector F-2 Whichever team is finished with their sector first will clear F-3, the other team will clear F-4 Once the HVT has been located, they will be handed over to VIKING 1. After clearing all FOXTROT sectors, VIKING squad will use the defilade at WP-G to approach the vehicle manufacturing station. VIKING 1-2 will take sector H-1, plant charges on anything related to vehicle manufacturing, then go to the next sector and plant charges. VIKING 1-1 will bypass and take sector H-2 and H-3 PHASE 3 Once charges are set, hold positions as long as possible, retreating to the previous objective as necessary. Once thunder platoon has taken airfield, we will exfil via helo at LZs in the following priority LZ-P -> LZ-S -> LZ-T -> LZ-A First line of defence will be VIKING 1-1 at BOF-1 and VIKING 1-2 at BOF-2. In the case of overwhelming attack from north, fall back to BOF-3 and BOF-4 If attack is from east, or if secondary position is getting overrun, fall back to BOF-5 and BOF-6 If attack is from south, or tertiary position is getting overrun, fall back across river and along infil route
